  1. Don't know if we really need 2-3 new players tbh. We need them if somebody will be sold. But in case every player stays now, Keane would be enough imo. If we can afford it then why not..it would be madness not to if we can afford a couple of experienced prem lads on loan. As somone said in some thread here before - we shouldn't do too many changes this season. We have/had a good plattform and added now some quality players (Tiote, Ben Arfa, maybe Keane) to it. If we start doing major changes we will be there where we've been some years ago; having players who are here for a good career, but probably not fighting with everything they have.

  3. 5.50 € on Real Madrid, Bolton (dnb), Liverpool (-1), Man City, Bayer Leverkusen. Edit: 5 € free bet on Webber to finish ahead of Hamilton and Vettel + Kubica to finish ahead of Alonso + Massa.
  4. First suspension could very much be Barton. He's already got 3 yellows in 3 games so far. Compared to Smith's one yellow. So it could be Tiote and Smith through the middle.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I'm sure there was some House M.D. episode where a patient had such a strange smile
  6. True. I still remember Carroll seing a few years back against West Ham alongside Owen with that strange haircut. I wouldn't have thought he'd be our main striker in 2 years time. That's how it can go.

He has some good style tbh. http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103697711.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E612FA9635B91F9A135B9A4651159A8983EBC28FACAC6F19C5 http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103697701.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6D4EEC7465A3A3A105B9A4651159A8983B0E83B222F61050E http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103697705.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E61B086C7FAEC8CFB65B9A4651159A89833489762EFB9EC500 http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103697709.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E69BAF6908FBB497C85B9A4651159A898346180457B51CCFD7
  8. I think they have improved. They let Hughton do his business, they're dealing with transfers behind the scenes like it should be - at the moment I can't complain much. Having said that, we all know that, come the end of the transfer window, it still could be a case that they fuck everything up.
  9. That isn't good. He shouldn't be joining the U21s even if he was fit imo.
  10. You kidding we got an unreal deal for Dyer, who is always injured, and when fit failed to deliver. My main point was, he got replaced by Smith. A player who was past it at the time he joined us. I know Dyer was always injured, but I don't agree that he always failed to deliver. Some FA Cup matches in the 05/06 season when Shearer was out (Southampton) and also in the league the next season under Roeder he did well when he played (Arsenal for example)
  11. Has part-time Owen been on the warm up yet? I want to put a bet on him to score the next goal. Would be typical as it would be just an unimportant one.
  12. Problem was with Smith coming in, Dyer being sold was a masterstroke. 9 games in 3 years for £70kpw. He was just unlucky with injuries...
  13. Dyer should have never left us tbh. It was just Allardyce who wanted to take every bit of flair out of our club. Replacing Dyer with Smith.
  14. Good thing tbh. It seems there are only 19 teams left in that league.
  15. Drogba scored today, so joint top. And Walcott? 3 against Blackpool, 1 today?
  16. Wow, just realized I've made an incredible profit of 0,50 € this weekend (so far).
  17. Some pictures of the match... http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/103694760.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6C3A61282FAFAC18A5B9A4651159A89836CD436CBDAB48D98 http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103694735.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6CC2706AD22B7FFA65B9A4651159A8983FDBAB85206DF61B8 http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103694771.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E637D3A2FE53E26B315B9A4651159A8983C3DDF880F79947C1 http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/103694689.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6BD550EC131515DF65B9A4651159A898304A40224BAC44C0B http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/103694673.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E61A2D80C7D756F4EE5B9A4651159A898325A65F00F1617ACC http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103694672.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6789642E4C0BA61D25B9A4651159A89838543F52ED95C4836 http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/103694685.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E61DF6A142F92980735B9A4651159A89834B6E393D493CE9D2
  18. Carroll already named in the 21's but as i have said above, Zamora, Defoe and Crouch are doubtful. Cheers. If he continues his current form he should be in there imo. At the moment he's the best english striker in the league, isn't he?
  19. I think our first target should be to stay in the league. When that's achieved we can look up the table rather than down.
