target men generally do better at bringing in the rest of the team and create chances. The amount of goals Pelle & Giroud are involved in making is very impressive. interesting thing for me is that i've been convinced that our players have barely had a shred of decent coaching since the day pardew turned up and i've been equally convinced this has held a lot of our players back at various stages, with some obvious notable examples mclaren himself is obviously not inspiring in himself but if he installs a decent setup behind the scenes then i'd like to see how it goes on the pitch

sounds to me like they know charnley knows fucking nothing but is cheap and fills a seat so rather than employ anyone professional to do the same job they've dragged people into it to contribute and basically make the decisions for charnley to go begging to ashley for the money when it needs spending

I'll never understand this sort of outlook, unless you mean getting rid of them over time. I mean the team is already thin, as much as the players you've listed are indeed pants we still need a 'squad' of players and I can't imagine we're likely to see any massive influx anytime soon. That aside though, I hope you're right that Shuper-Mac does make better choices with the teams he picks from what we have available - it's not like he'll have much say in who we'll buy, that's for sure. They need to go, when that happens I don't care but they all need weeding out.
