  1. i spelled polkingtons name wrong, thought i was doing shit right yet there i am getting negative lulz
  2. dudes read world soccer magazine, nowt else
  3. I'm not your mate. You're still being sketchy about how much you've actually seen the lad play. Still, is you're wearing black pants and brown shoes you'll do for me.
  4. what you wrote sounded like someone who has never seen someone play, if i'm wrong then fine, but i don't think you have a fucking clue
  5. so newspaper articles then, cool
  6. that karl pelkington is the worst thing in the whole of human history
  7. I think De Jong is a natural captain but Tiote certainly played well with the armband on. what do you base that on?
  8. he's just pardew without the PR skillz
  9. there was a great article ages back in one of the broadsheets juxtaposing unfettered rampant capitalism in the city (houses bought and not lived in in london, the deregulated financial markets etc.) to the english football scene...it was totally bang on until some limits are imposed on it from somewhere it's going to eat itself and in 10-20 years time england will be on a par with latvia Not that i suspect it'll ever happen but if the TV money disappeared or was reduced, the arse would fall out of our game financially. well, obviously...but it's all related to the same shit...the germans would never sell their souls to TV, spain is slightly different as they probably would be 2 clubs own it all anyways after that who cares... long story short i hope we're all strapped in for decades of failure at the only level that really matters
  10. had on a minute Stif, i'm not one to call you out usually but i've been here for years and now you have a friend who is a football agent and close to people at AC? maybe i missed it but how has this friendship never mined any ITK to this point?

  12. Stifler might have made that up but Luuk DeJong is proof they don't forget their targets if we get knocked back. Should they feel they can strike a decent deal and there's a potential/probable profit to be made I think they'll be in for him personally. At the right price obvs.
  13. you and this fucking smiley man, i've counted it's one in every 7 posts what's it mean?
  14. I'd agree with that. Can't see the inferiors agreeing though[emoji6] too busy tarmacking, lets just unilaterally agree to call it a day
  15. I can't. It's so far from anyones reality I can't even envisage it. he actually almost made it man, unreal, we should be thankful he never tbh it would have rendered our entire european history worse than sunderlands
  16. imagine pardew in the champions league man, just think of the expansive performance we'd put in at the san siro or the camp nou pardew in the champions league man
  17. nah, we're better off hoping for a continuation of pardewism and him getting binned quickly...i think we've signed good players again for the most part, i'd like to see them take time to bed in rather than bail this fucking prick out
  18. no way riviere has been signed to score goals
  19. come on dude, it's perfectly plausible that lyon might ring up on deadline day and offer lacazette for 5m 'cause he shagged the presidents daughter, this is the kind of thing that transfer strategies are based on
  20. You must have enjoyed Euro 96 surely? yes and no, i enjoyed it for what it was but in terms of england i was stood about in the pubs watching people go batshit about england when it was clear they were never the best team in it...bit like brazil this summer as i've got older i've warmed to england more, back then i had zero national sentiment, arguably negative tbh EDIT: in fact i'd say since about 1990 until recently i only ever paid attention to toon players playing for england, beyond that i didn't care and still don't What's wrong with that like? i explained it in the next sentence i think, not that there's anything wrong with it of course i've just never been in the billy england camp...always wanted the best football/team to win, in fact i'd say i still do

  22. right, was wondering what everyone was on about
  23. i'm english but since 1990 have had absolutely nothing but utter disdain for the england international scene - there can not be a nation that has failed to meet it's expectations so consistently, if there is i'd love to know who i'd honestly say it's a steady decline and all since sky took over football and it'll keep going that way until someone has the balls to take it back
