He'll get them 3rd or 2nd I suppose. that's what they want next season imho, and i reckon they expect to be challenging by the end of 2-3 years which they will given the money they'll throw at it

Going into the season with no striker apparently capable of getting into double figures is piss weak, whoever the manager is. there's enough there to put a team together and get goals if we had a decent manager, that's all i'm saying then again there has been the last 2 seasons as well and i've said so all along tbh

in principle we have players who should be able to play it, especially 2 CB's who can play the sweeper role, but to answer the question absolutely fucking not (would not surprise me if pardle tried it like, he'll have seen LVG succeed with it and think he's as smart as him)

Going into the season with Riviere and a broken (physically and mentally) Cisse will be an absolute travesty to be honest. Anyone saying otherwise needs to wake the fuck up. Before Remy we needed two strikers of good quality and what we've got is one unproven player with a poor record in France. It's begging for a relegation battle tbh.

We're at the business end of transfers now though aren't we. CFs and CBs of decent quality are the hardest to come by and the costliest to buy. Doesn't help when your manager seems intent on ruining anyone with ability who isn't in the mould of Neil Ruddock or Andy Carroll I guess.
