  1. In a ridiculously creative Monaco team... I assume we are going to bring in a more proven goal scorer to work alongside him. I guess strikers are harder "to get over the line", as they say. if there's such a thing as a football plan i hope he's a target man type who brings others into play, if so then i imagine they think the goals will be coming from de jong and cabella...highly unlikely we get a top class striker unless they're sitting it out for a lukaku or ba on loan type deal
  2. striker who doesn't score goals, good idea
  3. Why? He doesn't provide anything we don't already have. Aye, he does
  4. saw that at the time, pic really doesn't do her justice she was lursh
  5. we should be right in there for Ki at the kind of money, could easy sit and knock it about for us as none of us midfielders have that about them still, jack's english i suppose, so there's that

everything is on the table, wot?
  7. yeah i'm with lotus, it got a bit fucking tiring watching him walk about like...a massive facet of that great guardiola team was the workrate, and messi worked as hard as anyone in it during those years it's really hard to conclude anything other than he's absolutely fucked for good and/or carrying an injury looks to me like he's going to need lots of pace around him for the next few years to maintain his greatness
  8. starting to wonder what tactical and personnel-related nightmares he has in store for us after his analysis of the world cup games now could be anything really, will probably start elliot in goals so he can bring krul on in the 119th minute
  9. This is what I'm hoping for too, it only takes one defeat for him to revert to type, but we've been here before when we brought 5 players in to stop us getting relegated. As long as we're not in danger of going down he'll probably be safe as depressing as that is. really hard to see him getting enough leeway to make it christmas like, we're getting rid of dead wood and replacing some of it with players that cost actual money and/or he endorses...bad defeat to man city and subsequent poor performances and he might end up under pressure pretty sharpish fingers crossed and thanking himself ff
  10. while this is a fair point it should not be overlooked that it's starting to appear as if playing 60 games a season has caught up with messi at exactly the wrong time, the messi of that great barca team would have won argentina that game last night, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind point being that luck plays a massive part in football as we know, messi got shafted by an idiotic maradona in 2010 when he was around his peak and has now played when clearly physically and perhaps mentally shot end of the day he failed to do it when it counted, which is all that will be remembered
  11. saw the pictures people have put on twitter of goetze after the game during the celebrations, he looks totally lost/supercool in every photo, he's class
  12. Pretty certain he was showing that 'he's the man'. Aye, I bet he was, being the gracious winner he is. amazed at this, luiz was talking to rodriguez for a while when he was crying and then clearly pointed to him to show him up on the camera in a positive light, no fucking way he was taking the piss out of the lad like loved that goal to win a world cup, absolutely lush best team in the tournament won it, though argentina we better on the night
  13. Decent balance to the possession / counter attack dynamic for a change, not a great game so far but a good one
  14. Oh good Lord! 15 Aye, youngest looking in the whole thread probably
  15. Evans and Jones. Problem solved then
  16. will depend entirely on cabella if signed, from YT scouting SDJ looks very good off the ball and cabella seems capable of beating a man or two and seeing a pass have to hope they both apapt quickly or indeed don't adapt quickly, get pardew the sack, then adapt instantly which would be preferable
  17. is their current starting CB pairing going to be smalling and jones? if so they'll not make the CL
  18. laid into the cunt on the comments of the article again, lad who got in first was much better mind hope they let him keep the column during the season, i find it somewhat soothing to think he might read them
  19. he's only 3 years older than cabella like if that grinning idiot had been jettisoned as he should have been then i reckon HBA would have stayed and played with us for years to come, i was initially thinking us signing the likes of cabella might gee him up but let's be honest, he's going to know he's written off as long as that cunt is our manager
  20. don't worry, i'm sure the dourest nation on the entire fucking planet will throw a real feast for the fans in 2018
  21. hard to imagine ashley would fall for this shit again after he's ruined then frozen out hba, cisse, HBA, marv & *cough* obertan....this would make cabella around his record signing, if he turns to shit and is sitting on the bench i imagine ashley will want to know why
