  1. nah it works for me like, highlights the ridiculousness of the man nicely...sent it onto as many mags i can think of
  2. i said the same in one of the other threads before the game, if he's rated by the club he should have been getting time when we were on the good run not the bad one then again in pardew's 1 goal utopia he's never gonna be able to take that risk so in effect the kids have one chance with him, to shine when we're getting reamed, or their goose is cooked
  3. wish i knew how to tweet that or whatever
  4. fucking jesus i thought we had it rough at SJP with pardew
  5. there's arguably room for hope at this point, a tiny speck of light 5 more abject defeats, a drop into the bottom half and i think we'll get much closer tbh...
  6. Where did he come from SD?
  7. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/06/arsene-wenger-everton-arsenal for ianw and the all managers come out with the same crowd: arsene pardew : "Was there a lack of fight? You could say that," he said. "It is a massive worry to lose a game like that. We have to analyse it well and come back with a different attitude, with more personality and stronger challenges. We have to go back to basics. Our performance was not convincing, not defensively, not offensively. Everton was better and deserved to win." roberto martinez : "What is important when you are a team, you have to have an aim," he said. "It can be an easy aim or you can reach high and try and have a dream to follow. When it was Swansea it was to get into the Premier League, at Wigan it was to get into Europe and at club with the heritage of Everton it is to get into the Champions League. There is still a long, long way to go. Arsenal from now have 15 points to fight for and it is going to be a really tough battle."
  8. A bit like watching Homer Simpson at work tbh. the worst part of this video is i can quite easily imagine it being indicative of what we spend a large chunk of our training on, the other chunk learning how to stop the other team scoring goals
  9. Doesn't register anymore. Woke up, saw 0-4 and it just didn't register beyond being completely expected. We're relegated next season, or at least battling it for the most part.
  10. problem with the facts argument, if you took it to the extreme, is that they'd probably prove pardew isn't that shite on paper we know he's shite due to the intangible things that can't be measured such as deploying attacking/technically good players in defensive formations forcing us to struggle against the worst teams in the league time and again - most of know if martinez had his hands on our players he'd be doing a better job for the long term of the club but there's no fact that proves it we know he's shite because at the first sign of trouble (injuries/sales/suspensions) he panics like fuck, players people all over the place and we end up getting shat on time and again so tollemache can bleat on about facts, perhaps he should start with pardiola's record vs the mackems and his breaking the clubs PL losing streak record (which he's got a good chance of beating this season)...but then we'll be countered with a win at OT vs. the the worst manyoo team in what 25+ years? there's more but i can't be arsed was exactly the same when we finished 5th, people didn't want to hear about the impending catastrophe that was coming because of his woeful marginal style of management
  11. tbh i rarely see much in the way of what you'd call disagreement, it basically always, always boils down to "well ashley would appoint charles manson so we should keep him" i'd love to have a proper discussion about the man's managerial capabilities, decision making and presence with the media but there isn't one to be had
  12. if they stay up at someone else's expense assume there will be sheff utd/WHU esque legal proceedings
  13. This is all I've said basically, that it's pointless looking for defeats, or even tying to see positives in them, because our league position is good enough to secure Pardew's position. Not that anyone knows for sure what's going on in Ashley's head. i'm still clinging onto the hope that (a) the press turn on him badly and (b) ashley is as clueless about football and as impressionable to suggestion as everyone seems to think pardew has managed to convince 40-50,000 fans he's not utterly awful when he is, they pay money to watch the games and presumably have done so for a few years in many cases...it's not inconceivable that pardew is spinning ashley a good enough line to hang into the job
  14. Not necessarily disagreeing with your feelings, but we have beaten them at Old Trafford very recently.
  15. Leave then. aye, actually this tbh - if you can't or won't see what the man is doing or how utterly inept he is at his job you're better off just fucking getting away man see you, hope you enjoy something else and more importantly understand how it works, whatever it is you choose to watch
  16. it's not him alone, - if it was an ambitious owner backing a shit pardew then you'd live with it, or an ambitionless owner owner not backing a quality pardew trying his heart out then maybe we've got the worst of both, pardew is not a real football manager, that's what gets me - it literally might as well be someone off the street offered a job to turn up in front of cameras and do anything but say anything bad about the owner so an actor
  17. 25m is now for lukaku like, clubs should be falling over themselves to pay that
  18. on second read i reckon it's humour
  19. is that in response to my post?
  20. we've found a team getting a worse deal on kits than us then, finally only had to go down to fucking finland
  21. pulis or someone is the same, it's fucking horrific but it's intended to be, it's not horrific because of total ineptitude
  22. Who would you replace Shitjew with? just say ancelotti - it's as much a valid answer as the question is a question
  23. play him in demoralising defeats, probable slaughterings in fact where he'll hardly see the ball? it's never worked for us in the past
