  1. 2m people aye, of which qatari's are actually 15% or less
  2. this is what i'm saying man, it's tearing up a football calendar established over fucking decades worldwide why is everyone just acting like they're powerless to do anything about it? what do FIFA actually do, licence football clubs etc. of course but that's only because it's developed that way, just tell them to fuck off and they'll setup a new democratic FIFA, bye and thanks for all the laughs sepp winds me up man, as if FIFA wouldn't break over it, they'd ditch qatar faster than you can say howmuchmoneywillwelose
  3. Platini (UEFA) want's to be the next FIFA bozo so no chance of that plus they need to focus on ruining the Euros. don't mean UEFA i mean the individuals FA's of say england, germany, spain, france and so on to turn round and just say "aye well we're not doing that so you'd better think again" money is power, european leagues have the money...if they were facing a WC without the major european nations i'm sure this could all be resolved fairly sharpish to everyone's satisfaction...it's not like anyone actually wants this...what have they got to lose FFS? UEFA to pull the plug on them? not a fucking chance Be the end of international football. nonsense

  5. still beyond me why the european federations would stand for it, FIFA are fuck all but a set of corrupt shitehawks - seems a perfectly good opportunity to break away and leave them for dead to me
  6. I'd be stunned if we win tbh. Pardew will be even more nervous/defensive for fear of losing to them again, and will capitulate. Yep, and he would see a draw as an amazing result. it'll take one or two of our players to have some fucking pride in order to beat them, the likes of cabaye and HBA are more than capable of deciding they're just going to do it for the fans and have a shit hot day but aye, left to pardiola we're probably fucked
  7. if the mackems beat us in the next derby it'll be the first time they've won 3 on the bounce since the 1920's apparently he wants fucking running out of town if that happens with the players he got like, especially considering the players they've got
  8. None of that would be jammy. if they make the final and beat citeh i might have to give up football like, it'd just be total and utter nonsense
  9. tentatively agree, if he doesn't turn it quickly with a result he'll be back to howard hughes territory probably
  10. also, can you imagine pardiola being interviewed for his next job, what would it say about the integrity of him as a football manager if they ask him about the cups? "mike said he didn't care about them, so i let down 50,000 paying customers on a regular basis"
  11. pardew? Of course he's not. i guess there will be no concurrence on this matter then, 'cause he's out of his depths imho top tier championship manager in charge of international footballers and our position and performances reflect this fairly accurately tbh Remit - League : Finish Top 10 FA Cup : Not Applicable League Cup : Not Applicable To say he's out of his depth is utterly laughable. People also have a habit of massively over rating our squad. We could probably this year 7th at best and if we had a really bad season 13th-14th. You know when people talk about ridiculous expectations - they're talking about you. The irony is the expectation is a product of Pardew's own high performance but that's no doubt lost on you. Ridiculous expectations is expecting the 7th or 8th best squad in the league to present a challenge to the top 6 and maybe not go out of every cup at the first or second hurdle every year. If you want to point fingers, then people like you are why those running NUFC have been able to get away with taking the p*ss out of fans for so long. Our squad isn't as good as you think - but we are challenging the top 6 - obviously. You're just helping me make my point. Oh and that highlighted section ;D ;D ;D Challenging the top 6, yeah. If you're the 7th or 8th best squad in the country then you don't aim for 7th or 8th, you aim for higher. So - is he out of his depth or isn't he? Yes, in the sense he'll never build a sustainable attacking philosophy with a squad that is clearly capable of it. That wasn't the question - nor was it part of the debate. However - how many Newcastle managers in the last 50 years met the above requirements? I answered your question. No - you changed the question to meet an agenda - the debate was nothing to do with style or philosophy it was to do with whether Pardew was out of his depth given the aforementioned remit. i.e Does Alan Pardew have the knowledge & skill to take the current team to a top ten finish. actually it wasn't, you brought the "remit" into it and that's how you're judging him - it's not the only way to judge him, the "remit" provided by the fucking arsehole who owns the club and has repeatedly shown he knows nothing about football so in fact you changed things by introducing what you consider to be an acceptable remit, many of us don't think that's all there is to it
  12. he started the season ok, then had his great run of 7/10 after a miserable, miserable showing against the mackems and now he's started to undermine himself with stupid fucking changes and fearful tactics so we've now fallen back a little bit in the league and gone out of the cup this is because he can't manage change in any way shape or form how is that not out of your depth?
  13. Last year - of course - but there were obvious variables. If you've never seen a manager more ''out of his depth'' than a manager clearly not out of his depth you can't have watched much football at all. right then, so he's only not out of his depth when he has an adequate number of players fit and doesn't have too many games to play? i think you'll find that's part of the definition of a manager who is out of his depth we've done ok to date so far as injuries and games have been in his favour, we hit the festive period and things start to go against him and he's fucked again...lost 3, possibly 4 to come and the stoke win was a fucking gift
  14. "Remit" like that's all there is to it was he out of his depth last year then Haris, he had the same remit then no? said it before but i've never seen a manager more out of his depth last year than him, maybe that fella that took over at wolves and looked like a rabbit in the headlights the entire time
  15. pardew? Of course he's not. i guess there will be no concurrence on this matter then, 'cause he's out of his depths imho top tier championship manager in charge of international footballers and our position and performances reflect this fairly accurately tbh
  16. if you just hold your hands up and clearly admit that pardew is not good enough to manage the players he has at his disposal (with no provisos and no references to other managers) this could all go away Brett, it'll all be over, we'll get ronaldo to draft you up a N-O immunity agreement for all of the crimes you've committed against football and indeed sanity, then we can move on with our lives I've said from day 1 he's the luckiest man alive to bag this job and he's out of his depth. Only reason why his achievements have looked better than Hughton's are the standard of players he’s been given. Both bang average managers who probably should be in the championship and not managing top flight clubs imo. that's clear enough like, and fair enough really - your fear of the next appointment is driving you to see the positives in pardew then by the looks of it let's just hope the daft cunt doesn't implode and almost get us relegated again any time soon then
  17. if you just hold your hands up and clearly admit that pardew is not good enough to manage the players he has at his disposal (with no provisos and no references to other managers) this could all go away Brett, it'll all be over, we'll get ronaldo to draft you up a N-O immunity agreement for all of the crimes you've committed against football and indeed sanity, then we can move on with our lives
  18. Does anyone actually believe Brett thinks Pardew is shit, every post seeps how much he rates him. i mean this with no disrespect to Brett but it's almost like he's literally only looking at the points column in the table and nothing else
  19. well lest we forget he's just returned to the club summer gone and has been settling back in, i think they stuttered a bit at the start but are starting to look much more composed recently and are still comfortably in with a chance of winning the title now he's got a grip of things i agree in a way, mourinho is a more pragmatic manager than most of the managers in the top 8 but to have him anywhere near pardew's approach to football is a sickening comparison....mourinho is closer to the early ferguson who built from the back as his starting point but once his team got ahead they'd attack mercilessly sure it was ronaldo who always used to rave about mourinho in that first chelsea stint and how attacking they were, he also attacked the fuck out of everything but barca when at at real iirc, they put teams away on a regular basis there 3-0 & 4-0 etc. they've scored more than 2 a number of times this season, how about pardiola's boys?
  20. You talk the same when wide awake, i wouldn't worry about it good comeback yeah, such deflection much avoidance wow
  21. fucks sake i'm half asleep here and talking bollocks, i'm on about GD not goals scored chelsea have scored 11 more than us, only tottenham have scored less which can again be attributed to a negative manager not utilising quality players in the right way - he was fucking sacked, of course
  22. Jose gets let off because he hasn't got a forward he trusts when he had the options of Lakaku, Ba, Torres and signed Eto himself. Fucking hell the cheek to call Pardew when he has a choice of Remy/Cisse or Shola i'm not letting him off, they've scored 15 more goals than us in 19 games sorry if that doesn't fit your argument like
  23. chelsea have scored 15 more goals than us this season, in fact only spurs have a worse GD in the top 8 which is entirely AVB's fault in shipping 11 goals in 2 games or whatever....lo and fucking behold, another negative manager so where are we then brett? we have a top 8 squad, i'm sure we agree, yet we play the worst attacking football and have more or less the worst GD of all 8 teams
  24. Chelsea don't go for the kill, Man Utd don't go for the kill, we don't go for the kill. well i've answered your point about manyoo, chelski i'm not so sure that'll be the case once mourinho gets a forward he trusts
