Agreed, BUT, Anita was having a very good game as well, and was as likely to pop up with an assist, a goal, or even just create an opening as anyone else on the pitch. It isn't an argument about whether Anita or Cabaye should have been taken off. Both of them could have been kept on the pitch, and with a slight re-jig of the formation, we could have kept the pressure on. The point is rendered moot in this case because of the injury to Nasri IMO. is the right answer i suppose, don't necessarily disagree with keeping "match-winners" on the pitch, who would (?), but in the context of that game i disagreed fundamentally with taking anita off and always will

Does the fact that play was halted 6 minutes almost immediately after Anita came off not have a bigger bearing on the game? The flow was badly disrupted and never really recovered from the Nasri injury imo. Harsh to say it was down to Anita alone. Not that it really warrants discussion as to why we leave on our corner/free kick taker for a period where we were basically chucking it in their box as much as we could with Willo/Saylor regularly up there. Yeah, I didn't say it was the sole reason. I'm merely saying that taking Anita off was the wrong call in the context of the game and stand by that completely.
