For Ashley maybe. Hence the JFK appointment perhaps. alarm bells in what respect?
-
is rooney leaving then froggy?
-
the point for me is balance, if you go all out attack every game and win enough then fine you'll get on like keegan did but to go all out defend and not win you'll fail like pardew does one of my favourite ever CL games was ac milan vs. juventus which ended 0-0...it was a defensive masterclass from both teams but we're not even seeing defensive masterclasses...we're a fucking shambles
-
i'm at the point where i think an alcoholic mess like kinnear might be able to pull it together enough to realise that spending 4 fucking days worrying about other team is not the best use of the players that we have available
-
nah, you're referencing 2008/2009 kinnear not the utter fucking shambles that exists now

this, is there honestly still anyone on here who doesn't believe he deserves the sack based purely on his performance over the last year? i know brett is one but is there anyone else? would love to see a poll like I can think of 3 who? inochi, ian w, brett? i don't think ian w and inochi would keep the fella like they just seem to revel in being contrary (might be wrong)....someone else is a bit pro-pards, happy face? By the way his performances from last season do deserve the sack just for the record, but i've just always maintained i wouldn't trust Ashley to hire someone to make me happy if he was ditched. Onnce decision was made to keep him, i decided to give him another season and another chance. So actually i do think in general Pardew's performances from last season should have earned him the sack under normal circumstances, but this club hasn’t got normal circumstances Talk about a contradiction of a post. If you are happy with a bloke you think should have been sacked , what difference does it make who is appointed? Because there's a difference, if i was a Spurs fan i'd have wanted Harry Redknapp sacked and AVB brought in, however i wouldn't have wanted Redknapp sacked if they weren't looking to upgrade. In our case we wouldn't be looking to upgrade, it would be someone like/deffo JFK, so i'd rather stick? I think you would be hard pressed to find a manager worse than Pardew tbh . I've actually named our next manager in my post if Pardew gets fired so i wouldn't say i'm hard pressed. He certainly isn't worse. I would guarantee you wouldn't see the cowardly tactics and performances that Pardew has been manufacturing. Incredible that you can be so sure Joe would be better. Not sure what the basis is for that conclusion. The point is, he's not likely to be worse. Replacing one dinosaur manager with another isn't really what's required, but at least we're a step further along the road. How will being a 'step further along the road', with all of the unrest that goes with it, help us to win football matches? If Kinnear is no worse, or better, than Pardew - what's the benefit? Being one step further along the road to appointing a real manager. Read mrmorjorisn's post below yours for what is required. Your first sentence didn't answer my question. Neither does his post. your question is nonsense given we can't win football matches now
-
doesn't necessarily need to be an upgrade, don't you see, all it needs to be is someone who understands the basics of passing football and that playing technical players in a non-technical system is doomed to fail because generally players who like the ball at their feet are not the ones who like to stand in rigid formation and fear the opposition

They looked like last season had just finished last weekend. They really did. they don't want to play for this joker, it's so obvious eh? but let's not assume anything, worst thing in the world is assuming...unless you're assuming our terminal decline is in no way related to alan pardew, of course You didn't see the match, mate. So, I guess that means you're making assumptions based on a collection of somewhat biased opinions. Count it. no inochi, but i saw most of last season and knew a fuckton more about what i was seeing than you evidently -
i HONESTLY believe that if you removed pardew immediately and let one of the senior players decide tactics and selection we'd be no worse off, this is how bad the guy is and how deep his negativity pervades
-
Yep, he's part of the Ashley bullshit not just a victim of it. let's look at the bullshit as well; in effect what he was asked to do was work under difficult circumstances (for arguably the first time here) between august and january at which point he was handed half a new team in that 6 months he folded, in every single way imagineable as a manager then when he was handed half a new team and had people coming back from injury he compounded his fail to the point that we more or less relied on bosingwa to keep us up let's not make out like he was given a bunch of kids to play last season, he just needed to be a good manager and none of it would have happened, but as it is he's a fucking terrible manager who is so rigid in every way he can only succeed when everything is right for him
-
same point i just put to brett, don't you think his own performance needs to be judged on what it is rather than the potential replacement we'd get if he was sacked? who we replace him with is not relevant imo, he's going to get us relegated
-
this, is there honestly still anyone on here who doesn't believe he deserves the sack based purely on his performance over the last year? i know brett is one but is there anyone else? would love to see a poll like I can think of 3 who? inochi, ian w, brett? i don't think ian w and inochi would keep the fella like they just seem to revel in being contrary (might be wrong)....someone else is a bit pro-pards, happy face? Looked like exactly the same team that crawled over the line last season, same game plans, same tactics same everything. Same fitness levels. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. i mean i knew it would all be horseshit like, but felt compelled to ask in the interests of balance interesting mind if this renowned fitness bird can't improve them...doubt she'd be happy with that on her CV I doubt it. You could have the fittest team in the world but if your manager is Aldridge Prior you aint going to win many matches. wasn't on about winning like, just wondered if they ran about more or generally looked like they were up to speed for what's to come...knew the answer anyways like -

i did ask in the match thread but didn't see an answer, did they even look fitter vs. citeh? -
Pardew deserves firing for that decision alone imho.

I suspect on the striker front they feel Shola can help out until maybe Jan or end of season and that Jonas is good enough for left midfield with maybe using Marveaux/Sammy as cover. Who handed that last contract to Shola btw ? Ashley/Pardew? Why? I thought Kinnear too for some reason. Why? Because it was a fucking terrible decision whoever made it.
