  1. "Who benched ya? Separate the weak from the obsolete Hard to creep them Newcastle streets"
  2. His form for Argentina under Sabella is 19 goals and 13 assists in 19 games. He's been the most 'in form' international player anywhere over the last 3 years. We'll see after the WC if I'm right or wrong regarding it being a bad bet betting for him as Argentina's top scorer in the WC. I maintain it is. I can fully understand why some wouldn't. But we'll see. I think Messi is the best active player in the world, but the reasons I'd not bet on him at the WC are the same reasons why I wouldn't bet on Rooney. Like I said earlier, that's absolutely fair enough, it's jsut that you said you were looking in form rather than previous big tournaments which is exactly what you are doing. In terms of international form he's clearly a favourite to win it. I wouldn't bet on him either because of the other players there like Higuain, Palacios, Lavezzi, Di Maria and Aguero who can all score goals. Yeah, realize I made a boo-boo in my explaining. My bad. But yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing.

  4. Good ad. They even got the offices of FIFA to look just right.
  5. It may well be, but when your country is shit broke you don't fucking spend $270 Million on a stadium that'll go into decay after four games located in a place that may fuck with the form of the players playing in the four games it'll host.
  6. Because when you ship them into the fucking Amazon from Portugal, it doesn't exactly scream "that's a nice and cheap option".
  7. The Manaus bit was so damning. Fuck. I didn't know it was that bad. $67.5 Million per game
  8. When "Sepp" gets the reigns of FIFA it sounds like some kind of mafioso generational shift
  9. Is what everyone says before they go on to say something racist.
  10. I meant previous events from years ago. Because saying it's like throwing away money betting on Messi in the international stage is clearly that. I mean he scored 10 goals in qualifiers which is the most recent event from the international stage. He's not been in great shape for Barca this season. Scores a lot less regularily for Argentina and has done shit tournaments up to now. No proper signs it'll turn around this time other than the fact his name is Lionel Messi. It's the same argument as Rooney, he's not doing it for England on the main stage. He scores in qualifiers and friendlies, sure. But on the main stage? He goes missing. He's a great player for his club team, and because his name is Wayne Rooney people always expect that to translate to the International stage as well. But it doesn't always work like that. On the other side of the spectrum you have Miroslav Klose who is an absolute beast Internationally but never lived up to that reputation on club level.
  11. Well yeah. If you don't look at form tables and shit you're looking to lose. Looking at Messis form for Argentina = Not a good bet for the Argentina top scorer.
  12. Have you seen him for Argentina? Throwing money away thinking he'll ever do something on the International stage. I've watched him a few times the last couple of years, he's been far better under this regime. We'll see. He's a bit like Rooney on the International stage tbh. He might just finally do a great tournament, obviously the potential is there and it is massive, but it's not something I'd bet on based on previous events.

  14. You genuinely could not make it up if you tried. Sepp Blatter is either an evil genius or a front for one. This is their "war room". It actually is. How can they not be an evil organization? http://www.transparencyinsport.org/Blatter_takes_off_his_tie/Images-blatter_takes_off_tie-page1/Images-full-size/2-sepp-blatter-tie-less-wide-shot%28full-size%29.jpg I'm confused. The set for Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece is now being used by fucking FIFA?!
  15. they've really knocked it out the park. To be fair, they have the most important players that everyone will pick in there. (Iranian and Algerian players)

  18. To be fair, this is basically exactly the thing that happens when the opponent is arguably the worst team in the fucking league and the team I'm betting on is on a fantastic run.
  19. Oh for fucks sake. Got way too much money on this.
  20. I'm with Luca. I think I'm in but it's not showing in "my leagues"
  21. Stabæk is starting with a midfielder in goal.
  22. It is. It's insanity. Not enough Iranian, Algerian and Hondurian players for that shit.
  23. http://i.imgur.com/2eEy17W.png It's a start. Not happy with the amount of players you need to buy and the shit budget you get. Not happy at all.
