Annoyed me that when he supposedly "saved" them for the weekend, he lets Carroll, Jonas and Barton get pretty much an entire half of football in a match he apparently didn't even want to win when it's already looking doomed.

So fucking annoying that when something is there for the taking (the presumption Arsenal starts with pretty much their kids) we don't go for it. Especially when Hughton fucking plays Carroll, Jonas and Barton for pretty much an entire half as well, so much for "saving" them for the weekend. Fuck right off. So much more annoying than just losing when you know it could have been won if we'd not went with our reserves.

We've known for days that Arsenal are going to field a stronger team us, and considering their reserves would arguably be better than our first team, their fringe/first team are definitely going to look better than our reserve/fringe players on paper. Arsenal want to win this due to lack of trophies and now they'll see it as a very winnable competition. I think we're in for a rough ride.

Yup, gets really annoying. Especially when at they on their worst occasions are able to spend up to 20-25 minutes of the match on those throws, and there's never enough added time to make up for it.

I'd under no circumstances accept 17th right now. I'm ambitious, probably more ambitious than I should be. That said, I'm a shit gambler, so me backing us finishing higher than 17th is probably the kiss of death.

Naturally, given the option between relegation and 17th place I'd choose 17th place and as the season goes I'd be more considerate towards wanting to "choose" a 17th finish. But as things stand, I still would gamble on finishing higher than 17th come May. We don't have great players, but neither does a lot of other clubs, and if we can manage to get higher than these clubs it would be logical that we would be a more attractive destination for future transfers and thus we can build a better team and start getting better and better from season to season. I think this group of lads have it in them to finish in the range of 14-15, and I think they will show that as the season progress. I'll obviously change my opinion when I get proven wrong by our shit players, mind. And I'll be adamant I never posted this.
