Fucking Inter making me lose £20 by fucking drawing to bloody Sampwherethefuckia. Had all the other games sorted out, if they'd have won it I'd have won £300 for fucks sake.
-
They also beat Fulham, who in turn beat Arsenal, who in turn beat us. Football works in mysterious ways.
-
Norwegian commentator loved Barton's tackle as it was on the ball, and was all over Nasri clipping Barton down saying he deserved the card and maybe more.
-
The problem with Taylor in my opinion is that he goes backwards when under pressure rather than putting the man on the ball under pressure trying to win the ball. Which is why the opponent manages to get past him time after time as he gives them time to figure out what they want to do.
-
He's practically only been linked to us since early July, with a few other clubs being mentioned here and there. Even was said we had bid £6 Million for him, though the DoF at Rosenborg said that hadn't happened. Though he's like a complete and utter wanking liar when it comes to transfers. Check the Skjelbred thread if you need to read up on "links".
-
Serie A clubs must have some of the ugliest stadiums in the whole of Europe.
-
I expect Skjelbred is one of the "pretty well down the line" players with Rosenborg bringing in a new midfielder, Skjelbred refusing to say he'll be at Rosenborg after the weekend and all the Rosenborg fans seeming to be certain he's out the door after their game tomorrow.
-
Thought it said "Few pints after todays game." and was expecting some kind of drunk topic.
-
I expect them on Monday, if we have anyone lined up.
-
The Special One is looking sexy in Italy.
-
I gave him a 10 on the rating out of spite for that comment. Fucking wankers have no clue.
-
Shame he was utter shite last season eh? Did better under Keegan. I blame Allardyce for all the players being shite last season.
-
I love Joey Barton. Don't even care if he keeps beating people up. Always thought he has good ability, and it's what he does on the pitch that matters to me.
-
Given 8 - Would've been 9, but I feel he could've saved the third goal, which could possibly have kept us somewhat in the match after a good start of the second half. Beye 4.5 - Not impressed at all. Though then again he was facing Nasri. Taylor 5 - Did decently enough. Could've done a lot better though. Coloccini - 6 - An average game. Quite impressed so far in the season though. Enrique 6 - Looked good the time he played, hope he's not seriously injured. Jonas 8.5 - My NUFC man of the match. Excellent runs forward and defensive work. Butt 3 - To me it spelled disaster whenever he was on the ball. One good pass and his crossbar header was the only positives in my book. Gutherie 5 - Didn't see much of him, though he had some nice involvements. Zoggy 5 - What the hell have happened to him? What he used to be good at, now he fails at completely. Though, the opposition was Arsenal at the Emirates, so he's somewhat excused for not being able to beat his man constantly. Ameobi 2 - What the fuck was he doing on the pitch? I mean, really. Owen 5.5 - If he'd have gotten more balls through to him from the midfield, I think he could've been a major factor in the result being different. Bassong - 6 Did well and had some good forward runs. Edgar - N/A Barton - N/A Though I think he could've done much more than Butt had he gotten to start. The five minutes he got I felt he as at around 6.5 in my scale.
-
We lost away at Arsenal. There's nothing wrong about it. As far as I can remember since they started playing at the Emirates West Ham has been the only team to walk away with a win in the league. I'll not turn pessimistic about this season before we lose to Hull, which we won't.
-
Norwegian commentator quite liked Barton it seemed. Not to mention he's not had a biased remarked the whole game, which surprises me since he last season couldn't get enough of saying bad things about us. Good seeing Barton again. I'd have him in the starting XI over Butt any day.
-
At least this day has one good thing going for it, I've been told I've become an uncle again. Now the me buying Newcastle effects for him starts for that little boy.
-
If you guys want to know biased, it's the half-time studio in the Norwegian coverage of the match having only one guest, an Arsenal supporter.
-
Hopefully Keegan will get the players more motivated for running in the second half.
-
Jonas and Given only ones looking up for the game really.
-
I'd rather be playing with no Shola and ten men, at least it would've been 1-1 by now.
-
Norwegian commentator ain't bad. "Nothing would be more fun if Newcastle started to get into the game."
