Milner can beat his fullback using skill rather than speed, he can also cross - there were a number of crosses today that could've resulted in goals if we had a poacher on the field(Owen, Shearer etc). He has a high work rate, often chasing lost causes, he tracks back well, he has very good stamina, and he never gets injured. AND he's just turned 21 and is still learning the game.

I can't believe there's people condoning that shit! We are not Arsenal/Bolton/Chelsea etc etc, we're not a club known for it's divers, and i'd like to keep it that way. So instead of actually bringing local players through ourselves we should sign a bunch of 17/18 year olds to play on our youth team? Aye because it is failing so spectacularly at Arsenal? I would hate to have a "youth system" like Arsenals, their youth system is basically made up of a group of scouts that go around buying 17/18 year old foreign players. And even if it did work, what if we ended up a squad with just 1 english player in it? So much for bringing local talent through.

Lennon is a very "flash" player, and so gets noticed more, especially by the London media. The boy has potential but is very overhyped, he's very fast and has very good ball control, but he is lacking a football brain, is poor at crossing, and struggles with simple passes. I wouldn't swap Milner for him.
