For all Almiron’s faults I reckon he could’ve been just as productive as Grealish if he got the same time in that Man City team. 3 goals and 3 assists ffs, he should be keeping his head down.

Grealish is probably going to go down as the biggest flop in premier league history, and he’s certainly the most overrated player in the league today IMO.

Strange one if he ends up at Villa on a free after being linked to so many better options.

Pickford is an ok midtable keeper, that’s it. He has some strengths and some real weaknesses, and overall I don’t see him as better than Dubravka. He’s not the sort of level we should be going for.

I have no issue with this as long as it’s not instead of a big long term signing. I do have reservations about Man U castoffs, but this one doesn’t have a lot of miles on the clock and clearly has some talent. Even if his West Ham form is an anomaly, he’s still comfortably better than Fraser and Murphy.

I remember I had a bet with a Man U fan that we wouldn’t buy Smith. I couldn’t believe anyone would want him at that point as he was so obviously shit and finished, he just lumbered around fouling people. I was gutted that it was us that signed him.
