  2. That volley back-heel clearance he tried that failed miserably and almost resulted them in making it 2-0, please leave the clever stuff to people who actually know what they are doing

Anyone got a higher resolution pic of this?

  6. Szczęsny is the real deal, think he'll become on of the top 5 keepers in the world one day. Legia Warsaw have produced some decent goalkeepers in recent years like. Boruc, Fabianski and Szczęsny all played for Legia, the name of their goalkeeping coach escapes me but I think he also trained Dudek.
  7. Handball on Vermaelen, he didn´t seem to object it much.
  8. Arsenal out of the champions league then

    Sunderland...

Brighton are a decent side to be fair. I usually watch the Championship highlights and they have played some good football in their matches (10 points from 4 games), Craig Mackail-Smith looks like a cracking signing for them as well. Still funny, reading the Sunderland forum during the summer they were sooo happy and excited about all of their signings What´s the point of Elmohamady by the way? Haven´t seen him do anything noteworthy, really surprised they decided to sign him up after his loan stint.
  10. Even Cypriot football outshines Polish now Of course they do, the state of Polish football is absolutely shocking. Poor, lazy and unmotivated players combined with clueless coaches and an useless FA. 16 out of the 24 players in the Wisła Kraków squad are foreign, otherwise they would have got knocked out in the first round.
  11. Wisła Kraków 4 minutes from being the first Polish club to qualify for the Champions League group stage in 15 years, sigh.
  12. Cheers for that, good little insights. Thanks for posting Most of that makes sense, Ranger´s bit
  13. That's awesome, thanks for posting man. Love the comment in the background about a "cheeky little side foot" That's fucking hilarious.
  14. I remember him being outmuscled quite easily and slow on the turn, thought he looked nothing like 10m central defender during our relegation season whilst Bassong was our best player and it came as no surprise that he was sold for 8m (12m with add-ons if I remember correctly?). Might be a bit unfair on Colo as our midfield during the 08-09 season was shocking and I can´t remember a single game where we didn´t get played of the park with the opposition dominating the midfield and attacking relentlessly.
  15. Ordered our third kit with 2 - Coloccini Been our best player for the past 2 seasons and easily the MOTM in our first 2 games. Unbelievable how good he´s come after his very poor first season. Usually when people go on about players needing to adapt bla bla I just roll my eyes but Coloccini is a prime example of how sometimes players need a bit of time to get settled.
  16. If we´re signing an African striker I´d prefer us going for Papiss Cissé. He wouldn´t come cheap and doesn´t play in France so I can´t see it happening but him or Sturridge would be the ideal scenario imo.
  17. Thought his corners were superb on saturday. Probably been posted somewhere Cabaye’s looping corners had an 80% success rate of finding a teammate, http://www.leazesterrace.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Cabaye-corners.jpg http://www.leazesterrace.com/sunderland-0-vs-1-newcastle-in-5-key-points/ Good article imo.
  18. Just read them. I wonder what they were singing in the dressing room? Saw that film the other day, awesome
