He will be. He always is. He is Shola. Forever.
-
Man, I just hope he gets his act together. He IS the best player out of the ones remaining at this club, though he hasn't been the best performer this season obviously. I just have this awful feeling I'm going to be watching him tear up Europe with Villareal or Palermo this time next year.

Yeah, but it is no business of anyone on this forum, where I reside, sir. You have access to certain info (my email, IP), etc. being the administrator and I'd rather you didn't go posting it all over the forum, or using it to further a petty quarrel. I am always one to defend players who have done well for us in the past. I saw damn near every minute of last season and Jonas ran harder than any player. I a few of the opening games and Jonas was much the same. I don't think he's garbage because of two games back from injury. I've done my hamstring before and it takes a good while to recover.
-
The fans love him and he has obvious talent. Very likeable player and good attitude for sure. However, he is not consistent enough has had injury/been benched quite a few times. He's a good player, but I'm not sure he's good enough for what Lyon want to achieve, and comes nowhere near replacing Juninho. They have been linked with Sissoko.

Yep, when players first come back they're incapable of running. May I ask if you saw today's game? I'm guessing not, seeing as you have an IP based in Connecticut. Why don't you stop being a pedant, and why don't you stop abusing your admin powers to try and make others look foolish? You can see I asked a question: How bad could he have been in his second game back after injury, that he deserves the majority of the blame? God forbid I show interest in this club and its players without traveling across the f***** ocean to see the match.

Nigeria advances to the second round! Love this tournament and it's bizarre 24 team system. Brings back memories of the '94 World Cup. That's a tired cliche mate. Honestly, enough of you.

Lyon will go top of Ligue 1 tonight for the first time in a while. Bordeaux finally lost to the hands of St. Ettienne. Huge match for l'OM tommorrow against Monaco. How did Sneijder score?

Keegan vs Ashley and Co case settled - KK awarded 2m

Whole thing is convoluted to me tbh. It did not explicity say that Keegan had explicit say over transfers. The language in the contract was ridiculously ambiguous, but both parties agreed to it. I mean, a significant proportion of managers in Premier League do not have final say of transfers. It is baffling that this kind of langauge has made it into a final contract, which would have had to have been revised by agents, etc. I also find it slightly ridiculous that this has all come about because of a player we brought in on loan. I mean Keegan really was a poor appointment by the hierarchy of this club. This kind of signing occurs all the time, when you look at examples like the two Thais at City. It is only by sheer stupidity that the club has allowed this situation to develop to this point. -
How bad could Jonas have been last night? It was his first game back in the team. Why is everyone rushing to blame him?
-
The squad we had last season would have destroyed the Championship by rape. When you look at the players we've lost/had out and how we've done, you can't help but think that.
-
Just seen BATE's goal. Ridiculous strike.

As a Marseille supporter, I'm conflicted about that result. It means that we are only three points behind second with Zurich up next. However, it also means that third place is by no means a guarantee. I just hope we can take care of business about the Swiss team, because I don't see Milan getting that lucky against us twice. We were rubbish in the second half of this game, but the first half performance leads me to believe we would have a chance of getting at them in the Velodrome.

Shola's no better than Carroll tbh. Did you miss the beginning of this season? No, And I've watched Newcastle for years. Don't let a pen and a couple of goals against a crap team mislead you. He scored as many goals in the first part of this season as Carroll scored in his entire career. Yeah, brilliant. Some mongs on here like. Don't put yourself down Yeah, alright I'll buy into the bollocks Shola hyperbole then shall I? **** me. What hyperbole? How is stating he's better than Carrol hyperbole? -

Plenty of time to win too. Push forward. -
Third Madrid goal was atrocious defending from a set of players that had given up.
-
We've fallen apart now. These guys are useless.
-
Man, f*** off, you think it's a good thing that the likes of Real are given free goals. So tired of this kind of rubbish. Reidiculous that Deschamp the idiot started Morientes as well.
-
That's jist brilliant. Real score a f***** simple route one goal, with Diawara gettig beat and Mandanda coming out for no reason and then doind nothing. edit: 2-0 bull**** penalty. To hell with this. These guys always bottle it away.

I wouldn't mind both coming on. -
l'OM have done well to get it to 0-0 at half. We need to play with the same energy in the second. Madrid have had a few chances and Mandanda had to come up huge right before half to keep out Benzema, but similarly Real's goal has been threatened ore than once.
