Decent game. NUFC were very dangerous in the first half, but didn't offer much at all in the second until allowing Southampton to score. NUFC easily could have scored 2-3 in the first 45, but couldn't have begrudged a loss in the 2nd, imo. Ratings: Krul 6- Poor distribution as per usual. Stood tall when necessary as per usual. Debuchy 8- Did very well at both ends. Williamson 7-Strong in both boxes Coloccini 6- Mixed bag. Caught out a few times. Santon 5- Error was unlucky and magnified by the what resulted, but that's football. Fine otherwise. Sissoko 6-A bit wasteful given the positions he found himself on a break. There are times when he really looks out of place going forward, and others when he looks brilliant. Anita 8- He's not Cabaye (they have different games), but he did what he does very well. Simple forward thinking balls, good movement, and good feet. Tiote 7- Good. Not as good as the last few matches, but still more than adequate. Gouffran 7-Worked very hard and had a very composed finish. Didn't provide too much attacking otherwise, though. Shola 5- Didn't provide anything, imo. He's been good of late, but it was ineffective today. Remy 6-Below his standards. Should have scored. Still a good outlet. Cisse 6-Not really int he game at all. Ben Arfa 6- A few very good moments, one poor decision, and one hesitation when he should have shot. Fine overall, needed more time. Haidara N/A-Nothing to do.

I thought he made one poor decision and was perfectly fine otherwise. He came on for twenty minutes and created two or three dangerous situations.

Obligatory shot of Hart after every City save.

It could easily be the first few levels of council flats. Looks like the place where my uncle lives

Everything related to QPR is rubbish. Maybe the tenth most relevant club in their city. Also, yes, Loftus Road makes Craven Cottage look like Nou Camp and RFK look like Allianz.

So were Dortmund Freakishly difficult group. its beyond belief that Naploi can go out with 12 but then you have Zenit though with 6. UEFA need to fix their seeding system It is not UEFA's fault that Porto underperformed. That was a difficult group on paper.

It was only two years ago, OM managed not to embarrass themselves and made the quarterfinals. This is shameful.

Milan could have conceded twice already This will be a war.

Puma has put out some ugly African kits in the last few years, but at least those are interesting in some way. Addidas always gives Nigeria some standard green and white shirts from some template. Most of them would have looked like training gear if not for the NFF badge. This one would would be boring as well, if not for the strange colour (why are their two greens? The flag has one green.) choice. I would like to see what Puma could do.

I am actually kneeled and praying that this is not it.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil™ - Europe vs. America

Why does June 14 have four matches for no obvious reason? -
Do Manchester City need 1 or 2 more goals to actually win their group?
-
I'm surprised Damarcus Beasley and Eddie Pope never scored during their European adventures. Stunned Shakhtar have thrown it away against a Man U with no incentive. Their side seems inferior to years past, which would make sense given the loss of Willian and the boy at Man City.

i think Ivanovic is rubbish, tbh. For Chelsea, he seems to regularly makes mistakes at the back mostly of lack of concentration. Going forward he sees an incredible amount of the ball and produces nothing other than poor crosses into the first man, not even continuing he flow of the attack. I don't know why Azpilicueta isn't played more. Debuchy is the third best in the league if he keeps his form up. Coleman has been better for a longer period of time at this point.

The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!

Seems reckless to just disregard that other Manchester club completely. I agree about the three title contenders/top sides, though. -
He cannot pass, is not an effective tackler, and is quite lazy at tracking back and cutting off angles. I think he has to be one of the most limited players exchanged for such an exorbitant price. As you say, he is essentially a second striker.
-
Is he actually questioning it? Thought he was just incredulous at how stupid he was being. Yeah, does someone have something on the guy? Why does someone wake up one day, put on stupid clothing, and then decide to completely end their career and possibly expose themselves to criminal charges? I just don't understand what happened. The youtube video says it was a secret recording, so if he didn't mean the video to come out, who did he think he was talking to? Why did he dress this way?

"Today I think I will openly talk about my extremely illegal acts with this dodgy figure with questionable credentials. I also think I will bring highly incriminating video evidence along with me and openly discuss this."

2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil™ - Europe vs. America
Segun Oluwaniyi replied to LucaAltieri's topic in Football
A country with five times the population of Britain and much lower money per capita is not simply going to tidy up everything because of a football tournament. If you are expecting Luxembourg next summer, you will be disappointed. What you can expect is massive amounts of money and man power being put into making the atmosphere at matches pleasant and every thing possible to be done by Brazilian authorities and FIFA to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors in areas directly affected by the World Cup. Personally, I think a lot of this is scaremongering by the Western press, even though legitimate problems do exist. This narrative has been going on since the day Brazil was awarded the tournament. -

If money can make South Africa work, it will easily do the same for Brazil. This is bad, but nothing compared to the Ellis Park incident. The violence on the streets in probably worse in SA as well. Ellis Park wasn't necessarily violence was it? I thought it was overadmittance and a stampede. The random poor, hooligans filling those stands will likely be no where near any WC venue. It will be filled with rich people like Felipa~o. South Americans aren't any more predisposed to violence, anyway. Poverty, alcohol, and ignorance bring it about. The concerning issue would be the general incompetence of the officials in handling problems, but I seriously doubt the infrastructure for this match will be approaching anything seen in 2014. It will be beyond anything previously implemented in Brazil, just as it was in SA or even Beijing 2008. -
