Let's get something straight here. We are playing route one against a league 2 team who face that every week. If their players were better they'd play at a higher level. There's no reason why he shouldn't come back completely the same player (physically not mentally - though he seems a tough character). He had a clean break which has healed well, there's no ligament or joint damage and been no infection. The injury Shearer suffered pre season at Everton for example was far more devasting in terms of affect. And he still did well enough afterwards.

Goals keep you up; we need a quality striker. We are also going to be regularly without one of Tiote, Barton or Nolan. Back up for those 3 is simply not good enough for the PL. We have to hope Gosling is good enough or Ben Arfa returns. If that is the case I'd like to see us bring in a winger, SWP on loan perhaps, neither Routelege or Jonas carry enough threat.
