Video has to be the way forward. I was convinced it was in; it wasn't, I would have wrongly given it. These decisions shouldn't have to "even" themselves out.

Maradonna won the WC almost single handedly (no pun intended) I can't see Messi doing that. Maradonna also transformed Napoli into a title winning team. That said, for me, Pele was better; his record is phenomenal. He may have played his club football is Brazil but look at the titles Santos won and their results when they travelled to Europe.

I hope that Bpool stay up and don't mind in the slightest that we've shared the points today. We were pretty awful but we're safe. Hope that Wigan, Blackburn n West Ham go down.

SSN: Scott Parker gets Football Writers' Player of the Year
Tsunami replied to Interpolic's topic in Football
Scott Parker the placebo of the footballers. Completely ineffective but fools many. Lots of running about, mostly in circles, lots of throwing your body in front if the ball are all well and good but they do not deserve the accollade of the Football Writers Award. -
Perch made a cracking recovery challenge in our box shortly afterwards. The lads got no chance with some of the stick he gets. If you want to give some shit out start with that fucking linesman who for the second time I've seen him in two homes games was complete wank. At one point he wiggled his arse and then did a comedy yawn. Shouldn't bother me but the little skinny twat needs a right good kicking. Thats all; got side tracked.

He's made a fortune while being injured most of his career, I'd get 6 months sick pay then get booted out. Best defender I've seen Play for us mind.

Babayaro and Amdy Faye were worse, Smith was actually having a rare good game when he got done at Sland.

Please take Tiote off

Go out for 5 mins and we let in 2.......
-
Doing ok but you can see them getting another from a set piece.
-
Get well soon. Unbelievably good player. Used to play with his brother Justin and against his brother Gary.
-
Anyone notice that Gallas's 1st touch tonight made Shola's look like instant control?
-
Pardew must have been on a right bender last night and been still pissed at 2.40pm today when he handed over that Team sheet. He then must have been topping up in the dug out when he was making his substitutions. Baffled.
-
Agree with Bolton & Blackburn but not today - he wasn't great today but he wasn't at fault for the loss.
-
It was 442; Simpson didn't have a clue and STaylor kept drifting infield.
-
Haven't read any other pages - but here's my take on today. You can't play STaylor RB & even less can you play Simpson RW This meant Arteta had far too much space all game Williamson should have cleared the 1st goal Enrique was at fault for the 2nd goal and decided soon after that he wasn't fit - that doesn't excuse the piss poor defending for the goal We miss Barton far more than is healthy for a PL team We are 3 or 4 good players away from being anywhere near strong enough as a squad to compete From this page - Harpers kicking is poor, he did however make 3 or 4 very good saves and their first goal (and for that matter sturrdige's goal last week) were not his fault. Last thing today; Pardew got it horribly wrong - he may have been short on options but those he made invited trouble.
-
Agreed, but I'd take Lennon to win.
-
Harper was caught with his weight on the wrong foot; the goal was down to Tiote, a top player should be able to take a ball like that and find his man - they do it all the time. Mortals like me may find it a bit tough at times but more often than not I'd fancy myself to have found Enrique. Still love him but it was very poor play.
-
Sorry lads, he's our most important player imo but, the goal was his fault.
-
Pity he cost us another goal yday.

Load of shite; we've always been Magpies; it was more used in days gone by. You've missed out on blokes with butchers Coats and an old bloke dressed like The Penguin
