Think this perhaps showed what 5 subs will do in the last 15-20 mins of some games this season. You get 5 quality subs on and they can potentially control a game between them. It’s hugely beneficial to the top sides. We’ve got to strengthen up top.

It’s easy enough to unsettle a player. Bruno has been simply outstanding, I can’t see us being sloppy in our handling but he will have been sold a vision and we must deliver. We’ve had so many sliding doors moments, this is the one we can’t mess up.

We need to strengthen simply to keep Bruno. He’s a cut above and if other clubs get a sniff that we’re not progressing they’ll be all over him. Feels like he’s bought in and we’ve got Botman in; it’d be great to get another statement signing in. If he’s here in 3 years I’m expecting us to be another 2 or 3 levels up as a team. Can’t wait.

Perhaps over simplifying here but; right lads we’re up against a cracking lasses side but we are way bigger, stronger and their keeper is 5’8 or so. Go in hard but fair and shoot when you get within 25 yards…. Unless the lasses could stop the shots coming in I’d expect most men’s teams to score at least 3 or 4. This is on the basis that they have a decent level of fitness and can actually shoot properly. Enjoyed last night btw.

The marking and positioning on their 1st goal needs a good looking at afterwards. We were all over the place. Botman ends up in the middle of goals with nobody near him, Tripps, Longstaff and Wilson are static, Lascelles is never getting there and Pope makes a very poor decision.
