Nice insight into our problems there on GSS. Muppets.

Well that's the team I'd have picked (assuming Ben Arfa is actually injured). Now just let them play, saggy chops.

Carr and Pardew have very different jobs. Carr may be bringing Pardew the best players available for the money but Pardew, when picking his team, has to consider many differing factors other than "who are the best 11 players?" Pardew has to account for the opposition and their weaknesses, the shape we're going to use to exploit those weaknesses, who has played well in training, who is fully fit, what are the individual players' attitudes like - is their head in the game or not, are the alternatives in that position better, are they in need of game time, does the shape require someone more solid or with more flair? Carr doesn't have to deal with any of that. I rate him. His record at Newcastle has been very good. But none of that comes into play when Pardew, or any other manager, is picking the team. "My chief scout said he's ace so I need to play him week in week out," is a shitty way to pick a team. Might as well make Carr manager at that point. There's a massive problem here. Our 'manager' decides to play players such as Shola and Taylor instead. Aye, I'd be slotting HBA in at centreback, personally.

Can we rename Cronky 'donkey' please?

This was driving people insane in the strawberry corner. It offended people so much in the Family Enclosure that they actually shouted.
-
Disgraceful lack of effort/awareness to get himself back onside today.

Happens every match tbh. I'd love to know who it is who does that shitty whistle. It wasn't funny the first time and it's not funny now. Boils my piss.

Finished here unless he somehow recovers with a couple in the second half. He's too far gone.

This is what worries me most about him. He has no idea. There's no pattern to our formations or lineups. Everything is a complete mess.

Pardew doesn't have a clue. What an utter fraud. As for those sticking up for him, wake up man.

Why isn't this stickied?

Last night I dreamt that I left my toothbrush on some scaffolding around the corner from my house. I went to pick it up to brush my teeth (as the builders carried on working) and up pops Mike Ashley, just walking around the street. I can remember Mick's advice of 'just murder him' but I bottled it and woke up.

Not sure most fans are unhappy with our scouting at present or our transfer philosophy, we were 3-4 signings away from fighting for the top 4 in my opinion without the big money signings. The issue is there is now no transfer plan other then to sell for profit and the club in generally has no direction or actual ambition - this is shown clearly by the appointment and sticking with a sub standard manager and back room team. In the most part we have a team of internationals yet a coaching setup sub League 1, we have no identity on the pitch and we are slowly loosing out identity off also. Personally don't agree that its about returning to the boom and bust era of Shepard but atleast showing some controlled ambition on all fronts, starting with a new manager who can mould a team that actually knows what they are doing once they cross that line. I don’t think the club lacks ambition Absolutely ludicrous opening statement there.

He ran/runs a football academy in Spain for players who have been released by professional clubs, I think.
