I’m not sure just bringing in Kelly will be enough defensive wise, it’s likely Botman and Lascelles will miss a good portion of next season. Plus it’ll likely be Lascelles last season at the club? Schar isn’t getting any younger either. In a strange kind of way we are pretty well stocked in midfield and attack (injury’s aside). Obviously we’ll need a very good option up front to cover for Isak and maybe an Almiron upgrade depending if both he and Wilson leaves the club. Based on that I can see 4-5 coming in and a similar number going out.

Whilst it’s funny they lost you can’t dismiss them from the title just yet, only 2 points behind with 6 games left.

They’ll almost be certainly looking for long term replacements for Pope, Schar and Wilson in the summer I think.
