It'll just be bruised, no worries about him after that. The fact he was walking, considering where he got hit, is a very good sign.

There were some excellent performances out there tonight but this was simply a good 'graft' showing from everyone, even the likes of Marveaux who didn't do a lot with the ball, he was still getting stuck in towards the end and tackling. Great to see. I think we could have finished them off with a bit more style, but that's Pards unfortunately, I'll still take the win obviously, but I do hope he does realise at some point, that we can actually keep the ball.

My MOTM. Constant outlet, full of running and quality at the ball with his feet. I absolutely love the way he drives us on.

I think that was the best I've ever seen him do for us, in both an attacking and defensive sense. His final ball was still crap but he actually attempted some dribbles and was good defensively.

Strong, quick and seems to read the game fairly well. He's looking impressive.

I think he started well, but then in typical Shola fashion, got tired and they've crowded out the middle, meaning they're getting second balls which has rendered him useless since.

Half of two halves really, we started well and they've come back into it, they've not created much mind. We need to stop the hoofs however, they were effective for a period but they've cottoned on well.

They've got Sissoko well covered in the middle, we're not giving him the ball to his feet enough.

Why is Cisse on the wing today man? It's not even a necessity.

We're letting them get under our skin a bit.

We're lacking that bit of presence in the middle, perhaps Sissoko should drop a little deeper.

I thought he was a little too deep at times on Thursday, he was coming to get the ball off defenders more than Tiote, it should be the other way round IMO.
