Yeah, pretty much this tbh. His more recent performances suggest he's been given a bit of extra freedom to roam by Pards and we all know he likes to follow the ball, so at the end of the day it's not of huge importance. The only time I'd really consider playing him on the left is if we were going 4-4-2. His left foot is brilliant and for 2 good aerial strikers like Papiss and Demba, it's gold dust. The rest of the time, it's all about the right for me, it gives him more options for passing and of course shooting, where he's scored some very good goals and always looks a threat.

Good to see him pulling the strings a lot more in the second, slowly becoming the main creative centre for the team. We're going to need him against Chelsea, has enough in his locker to open them up, let's hope he's given a fair platform to perform and provide for Papiss and Demba.

Loved Kaka in the CL this year, hope he makes a difference.

I love how they lambast Ben Arfa for only having put on a show in 6 games or whatever, yet they drool over Sess who only really turned it on for MON's first 10. He's been as inconsistent as ever since then, good player but always has and always will go through patches.

The way he set up Ba's chance early in the second half was so good. He makes that 'shimmy' look so easy and it gets him round his man pretty much every time. From the BBC: Ben Arfa has made 3.2 successful dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League this season, more than any other player.

His touch is fantastic and he's a good link up man. I thought Demba was brilliant on form but I prefer Papiss by just that little bit more, he's got the lot, lovely player.

Amazingly good, hopefully they don't see him as a holding midfielder anymore!

Really wanted us to push on in that second half and improve the goal difference. Still, a very professional performance and a much deserved 3 points, keep it going Alan.
