Classy player and awesome finisher imo imo Higuain is the best traditional number 9 in the world, ahead of Falcao.....though maybe Cisse would like to dispute that. Dont agree the slightest. Gomez, Ibrahimovic, Falcao are all better in my opinion. Nonsense. Higuain is better than all of them. Not as good a footballer as Ibra but a better striker in the 'traditional' sense, agree he's better than the others. Deadly finisher and underrated as a player.

I do feel sorry for him, it's easy to forget how magnificent he was in the opening 20 matches for us. Cisse's second tonight reminded me of Demba's free kick against West Brom, oozing confidence and a striker in his peak. Much improved tonight from the original Demba though, good performance.

Unbelievable, didn't think I'd see a better striker for us for a while during Demba 1's great run of form but this lad's been even better. What a player.

He's like a full back version of Colo, great on the ball and generally a good reader of the game.

Didn't see a huge amount of the ball but when he did, he was economical and posed a threat, they were really scared of him. Testament to the lad that even when it's not going his way in terms of getting his foot on it, he's still seen fighting it out at the corner flag in the 80th minute. Fantastic player and just a joy to watch.

Terrific performance there, the first half was fantastic and the second was brilliant for the determination and professionalism of it. Those goals as well, fuck me. What a season.
