yer, not much chance of getting him but anythings possible
-
its a very good defence imo, but not great.
-
What do you think about signing Joey Barton? Obviously he has a bit of a temper but I'm hoping Sam could curb that and we could get to see some excellent football from the lad as we know hes capable not a fan
-
meh anyones better than Sibierski
-
no but id still rather have him
-
id rather have gudjohnsen than viduka.
-
ok then, plus can we really get a better defence with what else is available, i don't think so.
-
Nani is just like N'zogbia to be honest got a lot of skill, quick they are very similar but i do like Nani more he has more of a cutting edge about him, he is alot more the finished article.

I don't accept that. My point ANYWAY, was this Nani, he see's the toon in for him, a club clearly on the up, with a fan base Spurs could only dream of (in good time and bad), in for him, paying great wages surrounded by good attacking players like Martins and Owen, and with the likelyhood of many more to come, against a club who can't hold on to their best players (Berbatov. Carrick), who have NEVER qualified for the CL in a small stadium in front of some of the most passionless fans in Britain. Hard fuckin choice. 4FS. 1) A new manager and new owners dosent neccesarily mean your clearly on the up. Try securing 5th place two seasons in a row then you can boast that your "clearly on the up" 2) yeh im sure our attacking players who managed over 100 goals in all competitions last season and were the 4th highest scorers in the league just isnt good enough for him 3)Thanks for the breaking news Stevie, didnt know berbatov had left. Just as much chance Owen, Martins, parker and N'zogbia laeving the toon tbh try finishing in the top 4 then tell us that you are a bigger club, also spurs havent exactly spent their money wisely have they, i could name 50 players for you that have been shit. ermmm fans do matter, not exactly a coincedence that us, chelsea, man u and liverpool and recently arsenal have qualified for the champions league and they all have more fans than you.

a clubs size doesn't rely on trophies its about fan base, stadium size and wealthiness etc

id still have him in my team, at least we would score alot of goals. if not fernandes then maybes Diarra on loan or something like that.
-
both Nani and Fernandes are excellent players.
-
Great team. yeah because Solano, Taylor and Baines are anything better than decent to good defenders hmmmm im sure gary Neville said that Nobby could become a brilliant RB and he played Cronaldo better than anyone this season, Taylor is in the hunt for England and considered to be a very good CB already and Baines is one of tht best LB's in the league. i would class them as decent defenders. As for Fernandes he is a very good DM some of my mates who support Everton think hes brilliant and hes class at tackling.

My team works on pro evo and footy manager... good enough for me
-
After trnasfer window my team would be: Given Solano© Taylor Ben Haim Baines Diego Fernandes Emre Gudjohnsen Zigic Martins

mackems home or away bring them back down to Earth, love seeing their faces after a crushing defeat.

tbh Gudjohnsen is just a class player and he is exactly what we need, he is better than emre at creating chances plus he will get us 10-15 goals a season. Must buy imo and hes still got a few years left in the tank, he is only 28 ffs. -

he will be 29 by the start of the new season but he would be good because we need an experienced head to attack because we are quite a Naive attacking side, we give it away and dont create much. -
i heard hes got alot of pace and a good eye for goal, anyone seen Barnes play alot???
-
i thought we were interested in Giles Barnes aswell???
-
he has a stake in adidas already. Also he has a 16% share in JJB so wot if wigan were hovering above relegation toward the end of the season and we're the ones to send them down, he'll lose alot of money from that won't he???
-
Just why??? Robbie Fowler??? WTF???
