  1. Spurs' squad, attack-wise, feels thin. Any prolonged injury before January to Son or Maddison feels like it'd cause them a big problem. The latter usually gets something that keeps him out for a month or two per season iirc.
  2. I think Anderson's lack of pace without a better supporting left back or LCM will be a bit of an issue. He's got good feet and touch that you want on the edge of the box rather than coming in from out wide.
  3. Thought there was a stat that he hadn't had one. Doh
  4. Thought after the Burnley miss that he'd stop the ball or feint to get his footing and finish from there. Don't think he's had a career hat trick so maybe a rush of blood.

That pass to Isak was absolutely class, to be fair to him. Kinda love when he goes rogue Shearer in a game and is in the 6 yard box.
  6. Must be fucking tragic to watch that most weeks. It wasn't so bad 10 years ago when defensive football was much more prevalent but looks prehistoric in today's league with lots of good footballing teams.
  7. Thought he'd had a decent second half up until the goal but he was left a lot of space to cover for it iirc. Dodgy stream so maybe missed some of his bad bits.
  8. Looked to have some of his dribblez back today. Lush. Good finishes too.
  9. Solid result with context. Gutted Isak didn't grab the hat trick.
  10. Did switch to 4-2-3-1 quite a few times last season, tbf.
  11. Spaces will open up as they tire. Need to make sure we don't concede a stupid goal in the opening 10, keep working them. Wilson for Anderson feels likely considering how Howe switched Isak's position.
  12. Shoving an AM into the team isn't the silver bullet, man. Passers need players to create space for them to actually play balls into, otherwise you're banking it all on perfect passes. West Ham stifled a very creative Brighton this way. Deep sides are hard to play against and it requires more than 1 player to get through them.
  13. He & Richards were like 2 giddy school kids last night. Matched the energy of the evening really well.
  14. I imagine his pass stats were better first half? Felt like he gassed out 5/10 mins before going off and was trying to give us a break by knocking the ball into areas.
  15. His goal was a hands on head moment for me.
  16. Been said many times but his first touch is outstanding. What a player.
  17. His lack of right foot can be frustrating as fuck but for games like this he's an invaluable player.
  18. Think tonight was one of his best performances on the ball. He looked almost silky on it.
  19. He was just on it from minute 1. My motm alongside Tripps - can't split them.
  20. Aye, his knee is getting more & more tape each week and he's missing a bit of explosiveness that helps him to turn on a sixpence. Been a soldier recently but I miss him at his best as he's a breathtaking player when on song.
