  1. It's fair to have doubts but it feels like people seem so certain about certain things, such as you saying that the club don't have anyone else lined up. Who amongst us could possibly know. Not having a dig but I wish people could be a bit more positive until the summer is over, after which if it's all gone pear shaped, then being negative and complaining can be justified.
  2. Feels like you are searching for reasons to be negative about everything and are dreaming up scenarios.
  3. Feels like we are not far from that right now tbh, if you read this thread.
  4. We should have been 3 or 4 up in the first half v Brighton.
  5. Absolutely pathetic effort.
  6. Fucking hell. Sitter.

    NUFC photos

Bloody hell. 33 years ago yesterday. Wasn't there sadly but remember listening to it on the radio so clearly.

    Yoane Wissa

To be fair, the goal amd chance came about due to his chasing and forcing the defender into the initial mistake.
  9. It's too late for unity sadly. The negative voices have got too loud as this forum is testament to. Some fans are trying to be supportive in tough times. Others are not.
  10. If it was NUFC in their position, how much positivity do you think there'd be on here?
  11. Eddie Howe haters first, Newcastle fans second.
  12. Not if we win 3-0 and lose the three 0-1
  13. One win in 2026 Spurs away to fifth place CL chasing Aston Villa is not "Very winnable" Not saying they can't because.. well, football, but it would be a very shock result.
  14. Shhhhhhh. Don't give them ideas. Let them crack on with appointing him.
  15. I learnt many years ago that this sadly doesn't count for anything because if they are playing well and full of confidence, they can't wait for the next game to come along and fatigue doesn't come in to it. Difficult to say how the Villa second leg may affect them. Win and get to the final, they'll be absolutely bouncing, although may be fearful of getting injured for the final. Lose and they may be flat, although they may want to come out fighting. So basically, anything can happen
  16. Of course. Parker had no foundations to build on at all. Silly me.
  17. I would say they are ever so slightly ungrateful to the man responsible for where they are now (Although in principle, managers should never go back, no matter who they are)
  18. People have lost their minds
  19. It's more about how massively wrong he was four years ago.
  20. Am I getting confused but didn't he say on Soccer Saturday, when Eddie was given the job, that it was a poor appointment ?
  21. I was talking about the PL as a whole but well done for turning it into another sad opportunity to have a frankly embarrassing dig at Eddie Howe.
  22. It's been a truly bizarre season all round.
  23. I have to be honest, that wouldn't be my natural conclusion. It's simply a sign that the season hasn't gone as well as planned (understatement I know)
  24. That penalty decision for Torino v Inter
