Whilst last nights result is being used as an argument against being more attacking away from home in future, is the performance at Leicester, for example, much of an argument for going for a more defensive 4-5-1 ?
Bad idea for me personally. I think he has to maintain the positive attacking formation as I believe it will ultimately pay more dividends than a negative mentality.
This is all assuming he has the tactical nouse to manage an attacking team. Maybe a defensive mentality is what comes natural to him. If so, it wont work in the long term.
Its natural frustration man. Nothing to be surprised at. We are probably all asking how the hell it could have happened.
Has to keep the same team again for me (barring injuries). Keep the continuity.
Its probably more annoying because its Derby AGAIN. The hoodoo they have over us at the moment is weird.
Maybe it wasnt Sam's fault after all... it was some greater power
You say that as if he changed it because people have been telling him to. Surely he wouldnt be so weak as to give in to outside pressure.
Why do you think he actually changed it then ?
The fact that this is happening against Derby is ironic. Imagine what it could be like if we manage to get promoted.
Derby's record low points score... could seriously be under threat.
I think we just need a moment to absorb this comment.
We outclassed Barcelona in a Champions League fixture.
It almost seems like fiction when you look at us now.
I wasnt at the Barca game but I can take with me the fact that I saw us beat Juventus at home in the Champions League. Success is relative and that was a big night for me personally.
