Well yeah. Goes back again to people's gut instinct and who they trust to be the more committed to doing the best for NUFC. If you are able to look at KK in exactly the same way as Wise, Ashley etc then power to you. Personally I cant. I dont apologise for that to be honest - and yes I appreciate I may be following my heart more than my head.

Maybe people are scared that if Ashley wins, he might suddenly get a sudden surge of confidence and decide he is loved again and do a u-turn and decide not to sell. Thats an absolutely horrific thought so to avoid him even getting close to that kind of mentality, it would be important for KK to win any case. nobody is thinking that. certain people on here just want keegan to win so they can score a point. its really that simple. I am not sure. I think people just have 100% confidence that KK will be proven to be the injured party. which is a very, very naive viewpoint because we know next to nothing about the situation. No but as Gimp says, Ashley's actions and decisions following on from last September simply havent help support his side of the fight.

You dont think it possible for Ashley to change his mind again if he were to win ?

I agree with UV that this is all just a front, probably from both parties to try and save face. I am no legal eagle but wouldnt we have had some major developments by now had either party really been serious about putting a legal case forward ? As with all Ashley dealings, the press dont really have any idea of what is happening within the walls of the club. Do we actually know that there are any legal claims on the table ? I know Llambias has made reference to something going on between the 2 parties but sadly we have since seen that anything that comes out of his mouth is just utter bullshit.

Did he not have such an opportunity in May but decided to put the club up for sale yet again making the same old mistakes and if the clubs not sold soon have we just more of the same from him to look forward to in January/Summer 2010? Ashley is never going to invest in the team. He needs to go as quickly as possible

Yeah but.... Story in the press = Random wild guess at what is going on

Fucking Hell. It really looks like him

I fucking hate Eric Cantona He was their inspiration in that run.

I just hate it when the fabled 12 point lead is mentioned, its a falacy IMO and the media and everyone else have used it as a stick to beat us with for years. There was nothing we could do to stop Manure winning their delayed game that day or their game in hand. All we could do is keep the actual 6 point lead we had and of course we didn't which does fall on Keegans shoulders. Of course getting that lead in the first place also falls on his shoulders. Man U also blew something like a 12 point lead in 98 when Arsenal won their last 11 or 12 games (when Anelka burst onto the scene). So even with all of SAF's and Man U's success and experience, they were still capable of succumbing to the pressure.

I am one of KK's biggest supporters but I wish we could just leave it all alone now.

Check the "Club Sale" thread. Nothing at all happening there. Ashley is here until May

tbf at least one of those wlakings out was to take the national teams managers job. (hardly walking out in other words) Where would the club be if he hadnt have walked out that first time after a couple of weeks ? if i've understood that right then we'd be where we are now as he returned after his first flounce. But its this idea that the flounce is a personal hissy fit instead of a calculated judgement to get what he wants for the benefit of the club - as that first, flounce if thats what you want to call it, proved.
-
This is a fairly obvious statement but I guess our biggest test will be how we respond to our first defeat. Hopefully we will have regained enough confidence to just let it brush off us - hopefully it wont go the other way in that it sucks every ounce of confidence back out of us.

I assume as the thread has reverted to KK, that there is nothing new on the takeover today

All I can think of is Interpolic's painting of Phil Brown
