where is this coming from? wise was mates with ashley i presume before he bought the club? and what about jiminez/veterre? and llamblias? are they all "mates" or do ashley think they have something to offer in the business world? chris mort was a trusted advisor and did a fucking good job imo... look at it the other way, should ashley just appoint people he knows nothing whatsoever about to run his multi-million pound business? He should be looking to employ people with a proven record of success in the roles they are being employed. Chris Mort did do a very good job. Pity it was only temporary and he was allowed to leave. I am interested to see what Jimenez has on his CV that proves he is a proven Player Recruitment Executive. If this can be shown to me I shall apologise and accept that I am wrong.

I cant for a second think he will get away with sitting amongst the fans ever again. He will never cope with the amount of verbal abuse he will take. And it only takes one idiot, tanked up from the boozer before going in, to make a lurch for him.
-
Would be just more evidence that the club arent actually out there looking for the right man possible. Just looking for jobs for their mates again. On the plus side, he might be able to get Diego Marandona as part of the back room staff to help make us even more popular with the rest of the football supporting nation

I am liking S.S.R's new avatar.

Apparently. Find it hard to believe, myself. Can imagine it will just be lots of anti Ashley/Wise chants before and during the game and then a couple of hundred will hang around afterwards holding up their shoes
-
Can't be any worse can it? He's much richer and wouldn't be hated by practically every single fan, infact he'd be a hero for getting that tard out of our club. Deja Vu ? I think the hate is a lot stronger towards Ashley than it was Shepherd now, also the guy's the 6th richest in the world, nothing to lose IMO. I agree because its happened so quickly. Shepherd's tenure was up and down but at least he had a lot of highlights. This fuck up has happened so quickly i think a lot of people would be happy to see it brought to an end sooner ratehr than later

Only the first two paragraphs of that Independent article were about the Indians and contained no information or quotes at all. Fucking bullshit story

I think what he hasnt grasped is that football is like no other business on earth Staff for Sports shops can be replaced. New customers can be found by offering deals, discounts etc. With football, you have a fairly fixed customer base. Piss them off and you have nothing to fall back on.

Good shout. Aye. theres a guy who doesnt like spending tons of money
-
I definitely think Bobby's comment about staff living close to the city so that they can be around each other on a regular basis is very valid. If Ashley is to show me he is learning, he needs to address this.
-
Doesnt matter. I think this will finish Keegan as far as management goes
-
At the time, he must have thought he could cope and work with it. You cant criticise him for that. His current interview is therefore based on his own experiences - he seems therefore well positioned to comment on whether it works or not
-
I agree with that. Whoever it is I automatically feel sorry for though. Which is why I think it will be Wise. Knows the score and is tight with the hierachy from the start
-
And if that replacement is a knacker? Then I'll lose faith in them, I'll judge the next manager on what he does on the pitch rather than how big a name he is. The club, directors and the fans all need to move on for all of our benefit, this situation has only blown up so much because it's KK in charge, which is something Ashley will have to deal with as he was happy to take the credit for bringing him back. Well so far he seems to like to employ people known within his circle of friends so I am not sure I have much confidence that he is scouring the world to fond the right man. Lets see though. The reference somewhere tonight of Llambias being a good friends with David O'Leary scares the Bejeezus out of me

Tough choice. The man who has done more for this club than anyone alive or some sportswear shop owner and a former Wimbledon player. Decisions decisions.
-
The club have been a laughing stock for some time now. Ashley has managed to give the rest of the country the best laugh at our expense to date so for that I have to say I have no confidence at all. I think if he had done something in terms of coming back to deal with the whole matter personally I might have thought differently but as he appears to have shrugged it all off with an apparent air of "its not my problem - my staff will sort it out", I am finished with him I think.
-
It pains me to say it but I think Wise might as well be given the job. He is best placed to be able to work with the current regime. Then, it will be a case of what happens next : 1) Wise fucks the job up and they replace him 2) Club is sold and the whole damn lot of them leave. NOTE... dont let this give the impression that I am a Wise supporter. I would rather everyone concerned in this whole disaster be removed and we start again with a whole new set up but as we stand here today, Wise is probably best placed... certainly in terms of the club set up. Not sure how the players might react mind

I know for a fact I am going to have loads of Birmingham and Villa fans come to me on Monday and question why KK thought he could sign Henry, Lampard, Beckham and Ronaldinho. They will believe all this shit.
-
So you really believe that Keegan believed we could go for and sign Thierry Henry and Frank Lampard ?
-
I cant bring myself to read that Shite from the NOTW
-
Isnt it time for you to go to bed
-
I like the idea that his list was Ronaldinho, Lampard, Henry and Danny Guthrie.
-
After this latest web site statement, this match is going to be one huge fucking circus
-
Accept what though. They seem to be wanting to prove they are in the right but they dont confirm the crucial fact about the DOF being allowed to sign players without Kevin's agreement
