  1. I would expect that what every fan wants as well.... just so long as it includes Keegan I cant be arsed with going through a whole other take over and trying to work out the intentions of some other random billionaire.
  2. So if the club made zero ticket sales and zero merchandising sales it wouldn't effect his 250M investment? It would ruin the club, yes , he wouldn't be ruined but I'm sure he'd like to hold onto that 250M. I was discounting the club and referring to his other businesses. That's why they've got us over a barrel. They now we'll keep coming in sufficient numbers, whatever happens. Discounting the finances, I am sure he doesnt want to be seen as a failure and if it all goes horribly pear shaped at Newcastle, his failure is going to be plastered all over the world
  3. He might if he knows those teenagers, their dads and their mates could skint him
  4. I am hoping that the fans reaction to Keegan possibly going has fully opened his eyes to the passion towards this club. My hope is that the thought of bringing success to this club, and the reation of the fans and the people this would bring, will make it worth while
  5. Fucking hell its like being on death row this.. i just with they would hurry up and end it all. I have a feeling of impending doom today
  6. Robbie Keane I should have added - and who isn't in the Champions League. Fair point
  7. They totally missed his joke about pulling one of the blind women
  8. Not sure Sunderland had to go on such a mad spending spree. Always felt the bottom 3 were pretty much nailed on this year and Sunderland even on last years squad may have just about had enough to see themselves safe this year. Mind I think losing Kenwyne Jones made them shit themselves Anyone got n idea of how much Keane has now spent in his tenure. Seem to think she shelled out a fair amount last year too
  9. Lets wait until the whole episode is over first and we can say for definite that they were wrong They were wrong though, Keegan wasn't sacked and didn't walk out. They were reporting as if it happened there and then. He may have walked out at one point on Tuesday, but for Sky to be reporting it in that manner is apauling, without any official word from the club, they were reporting what was a rumour for atleast 2/3rd's of the news cycle. Dont get me wrong, I hate them all as much as the next man. I just think we have to wait until KK speaks and tells us he is staying. If these meetings dont go well and Kevin ends up leaving after all, you know for a fact that they are going to slaughter us, tell us they were right all along, and the statements put out by the club were obviously untrue. God I hope we dont give them the opportunity
  10. Lets wait until the whole episode is over first and we can say for definite that they were wrong
  11. Fingers crossed. I think the dream result of all of this is to find that deals were being done behind both KK's and Ashley's back. How likely that is goodness only knows but i think for us to carry on with confidence, thats what we need to know happened
  12. i know, nearly shit a brick. saw K E V I N K E E scroll across, the bastards. I bet they started the piece that way on purpose. You know for a fact they did that deliberately. Guaranteed.
  13. Their 'sources' will probably have KK in the East End of London later this evening! Keegan told his friends he had been sacked, this got leaked to the media. Hardly s**** journalism, they never 100% confirmed the news. some friends! Or calculated move by Kev the head of the LMA said, after speaking to KK, that he probably didn't tell any friends he thought he was fired, most likely speculation, according to him. I cant imagine KK would go spouting that to just anyone and if they were friends, they wouldnt have picked the phone up to SSN et al
  14. Been talking to all sorts of people about this today and am starting to believe too many things that I am reading. I have to keep reminding myself that we actualyl dont have an earthly clue yet as to what has gone on. Just hope it ends well
  15. It really is as simple as that. I think KK has to accept the current scouting set up but no decisions are made without his OK
  16. This is going to happen more and more this. Maybe us next. i.e. managers leaving because of too much interferenbce from board level I heard that Ian Wright has said that Abramovich bought SWP over Jose's head. Please let this be a wake up call for us and it gives us the opportunity to put our affairs in order
  17. Sounds a bit like there is a chance he could stay. Come on then Sky.. BBC.... are you going to retract your "facts"
  18. Apologies if already discussed as I am flitting on and off the board at work.... is anyone online this morning up at the training ground ?
  19. What happens when they realise that their £££'s arent going to instantly attract the Ronaldo's, Torres' and Fabragas' of this world..... I can see Robinho moving on to Chelsea next summer
  20. Hmmm. Interesting. If the Chairman of the LMA is actually being quoted (?), then that sounds like more than idle gossip and media spin.
  21. I'll have you know, in the hierarchy of reliable sources, David Craig "sensing" something is about to happen, is right up there. Priceless piece of reporting
  22. Having read some good opinions on hear tonight, I am frightened that KK is going to be to blame. I dont want to entertain the thought that KK is the one that has made us look stupid this time around
  23. The media have only painted us as house divided. Of course everyone will believe it but we have no idea what has caused the friction today. The way the press have portrayed the whole situation, we are no different to Liverpool in that the manager and owners are seemingly at odds with each other.
