The reason the Sun are running the the story is because they know Newcastle fans would have expected him to have come straight back to sort it out. Cant believe there isnt a fan in the country (of any club) that wouldnt expect their top man to be present to sort out a problem of this magnitude. He isnt stupid and is aware of what the potential fallout would be for KK leaving. Thats leaves me to think he stayed away deliberately. For what reason I have no idea. For me, he should have chartered a fucking private jet straight back into Newcastle. Maybe he was in NY speaking to the new prospective Manager

One chance to show that he has realised his error, is listening to what is going on around him and realises what he should do. Well, it's still his investment isn't it? He's not going to be so vindictive that he'd let the club fall apart. He'd be burning his own money. Well I would hope not. So many things running through my head this week I cant second guess anything. I didnt think he would be so stupid to allow KK to leave the club but he did. Its not a question of who is going to replace KK as even if we got someone who we were all impressed with, there is still going to be a bad taste left in the mouth an an air of tension and uncertainty around the club. Personally, I will only good again once Ashley, and everyone else involved in this latest catastrophe have gone and been replaced. For now, they might as well just get someone who is their mate (like Poyet) as that might keep us going and keep us in the premiership until such time Ashley can sell up. Then and only then will I properly worry about who is the Manager.

This latest episode has too many people asking questions over Kevin's actions. I think it best that a line is drawn under the relationship between Newcastle United and Kevin Keegan. It was wonderful while it lasted and he will forever be the messiah but its over now.

Misleading IMO. KK took over a struggling side and had a lot of bad early results, but he'd definitely turned things round by the end. He did a good job on the pitch, there shouldn't be any argument about that. All of our managers have taken over a struggling side, that's why the one before them was sacked. I know your really angry at KK walking out mate but I hope your not suggesting you would rather have any of the other 3 instead.

The reason for my reaction tonight is because I am unsure as to how many more times we can go through this. Tonight I actually feel like we might not recover from this and its just down hill all the way. Hope I am wrong but I need some help believing that our club isnt doomed once and for all.

There's going to be huge amounts of PR thrown about from both sides, one side started doing it months ago actually, the only difference is that at the moment one side's is being dismissed as bollocks and the other's is being swallowed wholesale. People need to start getting rational and applying their bullshit meter evenly to everything they read, not simply agreeing with the stuff that backs up their current view and dismissing the stuff that goes against it. I dont think we will hear from Kevin for a long while now.
