And if that replacement is a knacker? Then I'll lose faith in them, I'll judge the next manager on what he does on the pitch rather than how big a name he is. The club, directors and the fans all need to move on for all of our benefit, this situation has only blown up so much because it's KK in charge, which is something Ashley will have to deal with as he was happy to take the credit for bringing him back. Well so far he seems to like to employ people known within his circle of friends so I am not sure I have much confidence that he is scouring the world to fond the right man. Lets see though. The reference somewhere tonight of Llambias being a good friends with David O'Leary scares the Bejeezus out of me

Tough choice. The man who has done more for this club than anyone alive or some sportswear shop owner and a former Wimbledon player. Decisions decisions.
-
The club have been a laughing stock for some time now. Ashley has managed to give the rest of the country the best laugh at our expense to date so for that I have to say I have no confidence at all. I think if he had done something in terms of coming back to deal with the whole matter personally I might have thought differently but as he appears to have shrugged it all off with an apparent air of "its not my problem - my staff will sort it out", I am finished with him I think.

It pains me to say it but I think Wise might as well be given the job. He is best placed to be able to work with the current regime. Then, it will be a case of what happens next : 1) Wise fucks the job up and they replace him 2) Club is sold and the whole damn lot of them leave. NOTE... dont let this give the impression that I am a Wise supporter. I would rather everyone concerned in this whole disaster be removed and we start again with a whole new set up but as we stand here today, Wise is probably best placed... certainly in terms of the club set up. Not sure how the players might react mind

I know for a fact I am going to have loads of Birmingham and Villa fans come to me on Monday and question why KK thought he could sign Henry, Lampard, Beckham and Ronaldinho. They will believe all this shit.
-
So you really believe that Keegan believed we could go for and sign Thierry Henry and Frank Lampard ?
-
I cant bring myself to read that Shite from the NOTW
-
Isnt it time for you to go to bed
-
I like the idea that his list was Ronaldinho, Lampard, Henry and Danny Guthrie.
-
After this latest web site statement, this match is going to be one huge fucking circus
-
Accept what though. They seem to be wanting to prove they are in the right but they dont confirm the crucial fact about the DOF being allowed to sign players without Kevin's agreement
-
Yep.Thats quite a sharp statement that doesnt show Kev in a great light. However, I am not sure that it actually confirms that Kevin greed to allow the Direcor of Football and Board to sign players without his agreement or consent. What does "report to the Director of Football and Board" mean in that respect. Still hasnt answered the question for me.

Probably doing something like this mackems.gif

I think out of the 2 I would fear for Liverpool more. They already have tensions there between manager and owners. Pressure there is going to be immense if Man City's money does push them up there into the top 4

just checked skysports updates and Andorra have a player called Andorra ?? whats the odds ?
-
Zico as Newcastle manager just seems a crazy thought to me. Not because of his ability or anything like that... just purely because its ZICO !!!
-
No idea, watching the tennis. Plus a bit of X-Factor Aye X Factor here too. Cheryl Cole looking foxier every week.
-
17 minutes in, how are England doing ?
-
Not even any highlights on any channels. I dumped Skysports this week. Totally had enough of the coverage of football on TV and the cost of it all.
-
I have to admit, prior to Keegan getting appointed, I liked the idea of him becoming manager. Cant explain why.

I know what you know mean. Even people from West Lond arent cockney's but I think its just always been a lazy way for people in the north east to refer to people from the south (or at least the surrounding areas of London). With there not being any specific label for people from those counties, to bunch them all in with the london/cockney label has just been easy. No offence meant
-
You hear people quite often on the radio (and I would say then if they are in broadcasting its very poor) refer to anyone from the North East as Geordie's. Of course its factually untrue but its just an easy way of reference so that people know what or who they are talking about. Nothing worth getting offended about i wouldnt have thought.
-
I think your taking the use of the term too literally mate When people use the term "cockney", they arent thinking in their heads "someone born within the sound of the bow bells"... its just an easy way of making reference to where they are from, i.e. the South

No Beckham starting. Good choice
