  1. I await with bated breath, the media hysteria that a club should sack a manager so soon into their tenure. Cue a million references to Newcastle United
  2. I had to smile when I heard Ian Danter on Talksport talking about Newcastle's recent up turn in form the other day. He started talking about the fact that the improvement has happened since Keegan "Stumbled" upon the 3 pronged attack formation of Owen, Viduka and Martins. Fuck off you Blue Nose twat. Give Keegan some credit for working it out himself and making it happen.
  3. Souness for me. On top of the obvious reasons, its the arrogance of the man to sit on TV, saying that he would take the job again "in a heartbeat". Is this arrogance to completely ignore how much he is disliked by the fans and to ignore what a shite job he did in the first place
  4. Neither happy nor sad but feel that justice will be done if Man U win. Chelsea have so dull this season. Would have preferred Arsenal to win it because I prefer their style of play but Man U will be worthy Champions. Ronaldo certainly deserves to win it
  5. Aye but now instead of needing to beat Man Utd and then hope someone holds them to a draw in one of the other three games, they need to beat Man Utd and hope someone beats them, due to the goal differences. It's a massive blow for them. And for me, also hands the initiative, confidence wise, to Liverpool for the CL Semi Final
  6. Oh dear Chelsea. No doubt their fans gave the appropriate response
  7. Thats would be scandalous if true. Granted their season has tailed off a little but the strides they have taken since last year surely means he cant be under any kind of pressure Scandalous yes, probably not the most scandalous thing Shinawatra has ever done though. Maybe it would be 2nd to genocide, i don't know.

  9. Adebayor could have made today so very different.
  10. There is more to being a captain than staying behind after the game and clapping the fans. Yeah but if he isnt doing the obvious things, like acknowledging his own fans at the end of the game, then it doesnt bear well for what else he is doing.
  11. Apparently Gallas just wandered off the pitch while all his team mates were applaudung the Arsenal fans. Wenger could do himself a favour and pick a new Captain
  12. I bet Almunia is having a rye chuckle to himself tonight at Lehmann's expense
  13. Kelly had been on Talksport on a Monday night for a few weeks. Thought she was good at it and talks a lot of sense. Is very knowledgeable
  14. Peter Beardsley's Hat-Trick on New years Day
  15. To think that the tedium that is Chelsea Football Club is still in with a chance of the title is a travesty against football
  16. Why does Alan Green call the Arsenal midfielder " Cleb "
  17. Barring a moment of madness from Toure (or bad decision from ref - take your pick) on Wednesday night, this thread wouldnt even exist. I dont think anyone would have had any argument had Arsenal gone through against Liverpool so to criticise him is just madness.
  18. I really hope Lehmann drops a clanger today to show him up as the useless, petty, pathetic twat that he really his
  19. Scott Sellars free-kick. We had been top of the league all season and had just been nudged down to 2nd for the first (and only) time for 24 hours, by Portsmouth. Needed to win to go back up top and the free-kick, to win the game as well, made it a magic day. .... and of course being there as O'brien smacked that free kickin earlier in the season. Best away match I have ever been to Play off defeat was the worst derby match I have been to
  20. Brentford I think. Whoever it was had just knocked out Spurs, anyway. Scoring was his revenge in that match It was Grimsby
  21. Ticht match. 2-1. Owen. Martins. Jones to play well and score for them
  22.  If you get chance, watch Southampton's goal at Charlton. Goalkeeper catches the ball near enough on the line (under no threat from a Soton player), collides with his own defender and just chucks the ball into the net. Brilliant
