I was listening to the Breakfast show on Talksport this morning and Alan Brazil was listing clubs that he felt hadnt done so great in the window... West Ham, Everton,in particular. Not once were we mentioned as having had a poor window and being one of the clubs that were going to be under pressure. I interpret that as that from the outside, everyone must have seen us sign the players we have and thought that was OK and appear to have signed some excelltn players (Colo, Jonas) . The paranoia seems to be very much in-house and we seem to stressing ourselves out over nothing.

So are we to assume that Mike Ashley has sat with the Newcastle fans for a season, listened to all the complaints and moans and realised that KK is god and that he is needed to make sure this club progresses, yet has done things to make KK resign. I cant believe he has but if he has then goodness knows how he has made his money because he would be the thickest cunt on the planet.

I honestly can see them seeing their contracts out. They are so shite, it would be an absolute miracle for another manager to take them off our hands.

So i wonder what is right about a player on loan from a club who have just bought him and ship him out to us for a season ,how the fuck can KK judge him to be right for us . I didnt say I knew why he was right for us. I trust Keegan though if he think he is. Time will tell.

Keegan said that he wanted players that "were right for Newcastle". I have enough faith in KK to think that these 2 will be and be good additions to the lads that have already come in and started well. With a bit of luck on the injury front, I think we will do as well this season as most people expected before a ball was kicked. I think we are all just feeling a little jealous because Man City have gone out and got a monumental trophy signing.

I get the impression that too many people think Newcastle Utd can just click their fingers and players will queue up to join us. I fear that the public perception of the club is making KK's job of signing players 2,3,4 times as hard as it ordinarily would. He is managing to do it slowly but once again, I think there are just more atrractive clubs for the higher quality players (of the level we feel we need to progress) to join at this moment in time.

Helps if you have Arab owners who have a Zillion pounds worth of spare cash that they dont mind just throwing willy nilly at a player from Real Madrid who publicly stated his desire to go to another Premiership club.
