  1. You'd think they wouldn't be allowed to get away with that tactic but I guess they are.
  2. Drop in the ocean for him. It'll cost home more in the long run with fewer people in the stadium next season and I feel, inevitable relegation next season. I don't think he wins in this either.
  3. Surprising, yet not surprising. Bring on the Relegationiometer and this costing Mike Ashley a fortune in the long run.
  4. It's like roulette this now. Spin the wheel, roll the ball and then see what 'reason for delay' it lands on today.
  5. If he had been following his beloved NUFC for the last 13 years, he might have been prepared for something like that happening
  6. That part of it doesn't add up for me. He's got his info from a senior exec at league level - why would they be talking to Stevie Bacon? What would Bruce actually be furious about, other than losing his job? Isnt the contact in the LMA?
  7. Weirdly makes sense (Nobody's post) but the question remains as to what Ashley could actually do to effectively tear up the deal that has been agreed. Unless of course he's prepared to take the penalty for cancelling the deal and take the gamble that a bigger bid would cover the cost and more. If that's the case he's going to end up fucking us and himself.
  8. Imagine if he's pulled a fast one because he thinks Henry Mauriss is going to offer him £350 million and then Mauriss doesn't follow through with the offer
  9. Not quite sure I believe this. I thought it was a case of PL giving the green light and then the money being transferred. What can Ashley do to stop the money being transferred ?
  10. How we all laughed at the suggestion that Ashley couldn't affect this now
  11. I'm expecting an appeal, to the appeal, which was an appeal to an earlier appeal...ad infinitum.
  12. Fits in with our standard level of appointment
  13. Gov giving a free pass to block it. Government have no involvement in it. Final decision still has to be based on the O&D test.
  14. It ends when the PL make a formal decision. I just cannot see the buyers giving up. Not after the time, effort and money that's gone into this. The ridiculous thing is that it seems the premier league have absolutely no obligation to make one at all if they choose not too. It certainly does look that way but in reality, they'll have to eventually.
