That's my take on it too. Yes but equally what they have received so far hasn't convinced them, at a certain point is there any chance PIF can convince them? What more can they do to get it passed? I should have added to my post that I am falling on the side of eventual failure now. I think the fact it has dragged on for so long, suggests to me that they are giving it every opportunity to pass. It feels like if they wanted to fail it, they could possibly have done it after week 7 or 8 given that that is way after the normally expected time frame anyway. I agree though, eventually, the PL will have to draw a line if the correct information/evidence can't be provided.

In his simple mind he thinks so, let's say the takeover is knocked back; there will be an appeal and then a court case to follow before any bid can be even agreed. Not very bright is Mr Edwards, unless he actually thinks the Saudi bid will win (somehow I don't think he does) What evidence is there to suggest that there'd be a court case ? Would there even be grounds for taking it to court? It's the PL's O&D test, it's not British law to the best of my knowledge. If the buyers fail it,and then are unsuccessful with their appeal, then it's basically tough shit isn't it ?

He deserves dogs abuse not for not being very good, but for being happy about achieving the mediocrity that the owner asks of him. The guy has no pride in himself otherwise he'd be disappointed to be only on 44 points. The man has no desire to see NUFC develop. I hate him for contributing towards me hating the club.
