Not that i have anything against the foreign toon fans, but for someone who asked if us geordies realised how much they spend on TV rights etc.. There's nowhere near how much we spend on going to every home game and a high amount of away games, plus the travel, the heartbreak,it all adds up. Season ticket £300 plus cup games, friendlys, and about £70 an average away game for someone who is 15. A lot more for an adult !

My uncles are all Rangers daft They have been Newcastle season ticket holders for years, but whenever Newcastle arn't at home, they are always up Glasgow on the train at a Rangers game, having a good piss up Was at a party tonight and they were all glued to the Telly cheering them on I've never really liked Rangers, prefer Celtic tbh

I don't want to sound like a super fan or anything, but for my age, i'd class myself as a proper supporter. I worked as a paper lad for 2 years, to save up and go to away games by myself, due to my parents not being able to afford away tickets as well as buying me a season ticket. Basically, i've dedicated my life to Newcastle, and i can only see myself getting worse. Anything i do has to be connected to the Toon, my room is mental, i constantly shout toon songs around the house, and can just never get NUFC off my mind, ever. It's quite bad with me, i'll get up on a morning and start clapping toon songs, sing to local hero as my alarm, get up everyday at 7.00 in the school holidays to go and stand, see and talk to the players on freezing cold mornings. I know i'm probably just a keen young lad, but i can possibly see Newcastle taking over my life. When people ask me what i want to do in the future, i just tell them i never want to miss another Newcastle game ever. My parents want to move abroad when i leave school and take me with them, i couldn't bear leaving my team behind. Sorry for the essay

It's funny actually, most of us on here have been optamistic on here all season,we'l get something at Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd, but now, we are shite and have no chance against Man Utd at home on Saturday, it's funny because it's true. I say it every season, ahh well, just have to wait until next year, and when next year comes, it's the same old story. Until i know that we are going to spend big in the summer, i can't see us touching the top 4 again in the near future. If we just had a decent defence those few seasons under Robson when we were in the Champions League.....
