Not Carver or McClaren please. Ta.
-
Yeah would take Rodgers in a heartbeat tbh.
-
Personally I think that article is dreadful, but hey, horses for courses.
-
Don't dislike the bloke at all, just he's not good enough for the Prem nor us. Same goes for Gutierrez; seems a top bloke but sadly just not good enough. They both give it everything they've got, it's just that's not really enough at this level.
-
Honestly think he's a much better CB than he is LB.
-
Ryan Taylor is awful. Dummett always seems to play better at centre-half. Was the least angry I've been with us in months. We're still crap though. At least Burnley did us a massive favour.
-
Our fans sometimes. Sheesh.
-
He's sadly just a nothing player in the Premier League. Saying that we have a number of players who are less than nothing.
-
Vuckic coukd come back and be number 10. Think he'd do alright in the Championship for us to be fair. What excitement to look forward to.
-
Don't want the bloke and hopefully if we do somehow manage to stay up they don't go crawling back to him in the summer. Prick. Albeit a better manager than Carver.
-
Warburton's done a good job, but I feel a lot of our players are the type who wouldn't listen to a progressive English manager. They need a reputation more than someone who speaks sense. Or maybe all our players are just shit. Could be either/or. I do know that McClaren would depress the hell out of me as an appointment.
-
Just as shit as the rest of them. None of them give a fuck.
-
Would be happy to have Bamford. Was thinking about our team last night: GK: Darlow RB: R Taylor CB: Williamson CB: Lascelles LB: Dummet CM: Abeid CM: Collback RW: Aarons AMC: Vuckic LW: Ameobi ST: Riviere/Bamford Reckon we could almost scrap the top half of the Championship with that lot. \o/

God forbid we give a youngster who has scored goals for the U21s a chance to make a breakthrough to the first team. If we played loanees over our own youth prospects, people would moan about that instead.
-
Just what we need, another midget in the side who is bypassed by our beautiful football.
-
No thanks. His record is not impressive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Guidetti Has had a couple of really bad setbacks in his career injury/illness wise. Has talent but would be a bit of a gamble. His record looks worse at Stoke and Celtic as they often used him from the bench - which in itself isn't exactly a massive endorsement.
-
Spoke to a Derby fan yesterday. The fact his fingers are most firmly crossed for us to 'poach' their 5/10 manager spoke volumes.
-
Carver or McClaren would disappoint me massively. I'm already completely apathetic towards football thanks to Newcastle's recent history, but either of those and I'd find something better to do on match days. Which I fear wouldn't be that hard.

I'm starting to think Ashley is just on a massive troll to do exactly what the fans don't want but remain profitable. At the start he tried, beers with the lads in the crowd etc, but then they turned on him. Since then near enough everything he's done we didn't want. Appoint Keegan then handicap him into resigning. Hire Kinnear. Appoint Pardew. Not sacking Pardew despite everyone calling for it. Appointing Carver until the end of the season. Not signing players in windows where we've desperately needed reinforcements. Not bothering at all with the cups. Branding the club with a controversial company like Wonga. What more does he have to do to prove he's on a massive troll? Obviously he can't let the club get relegated and lose out on the TV money, but aside from that he's done quite a few things which could be considered antagonistic. Appointing Carver after this awful run would just be another example of it.

Darlow can't as he isn't registered but Lascelles can.

Ha yeah, I had the Roma home and Away Kappa shirts, both with Montella on the back. Also still got that Italian one above, still in pretty good nick. Sold a few of them on eBay not that long ago as moved and realised I'd probably never wear them again.

Why on earth would you even consider it? Genuine question. Consider what? Attending the match or joining in the protests? As I'm considering both... Attending the match. Protests I can understand. Ok. Genuine answer to your genuine question... My brother barely has any spare cash, recently became a Dad and manages his own small business with a very modest budget and salary. He's spent the best part of £70 getting us tickets to go together (something we've not done regularly for years) and I don't fancy throwing them back in his face and appearing to be ungrateful when he's spent what is a small fortune for him on these tickets. Footballing morals in me say I shouldn't go, but the caring and appreciative sibling in me says I should. Just go and get so drunk you don't even realise a game is going on. Then make sure you steal exactly the ticket cost in merchandise from a Sports Direct shop. Depending on the brand you choose, you'd probably need a trolley's worth.

Tuchel now confirmed via Dortmund's official twitter feed. One step closer to McLaren. Ugh.

Amazed this thread has got to 32 pages. Can barely bring myself to watch the games now, even more of a struggle to actually care enough to post about it.
