Looking forward to a 90 minute striking clinic from Joselu.
-
Rashford MOTM? Barely had a kick. An assist which was a keeper error and a tap in. Don’t mind Carragher but absolutely no chance Rashford’s been the best player tonight.

Nice to see Jonjo busting a gut for that second goal. Just doesn’t have any heart when we’ve not got the ball. Sick of tired of having to make do with defective bloody footballers at this club.
-
Good point but still feels like two dropped. For the lads to work that hard and have a sub who’d barely broken a sweat to let them down is pretty gutting.
-
Too many mince pies for Jonjo. Knackered and jogging after a couple of minutes. Absolutely criminal for their goal.

Bunch of unlikable players playing for a cunt of an owner and a manager who wants out (understandably) as soon as he doesn’t have to pay to leave. Love this horrible little club. Damning indictment of me that I can’t find anything better to do than watch when we play.
-
Can’t wait for the FA to ruin Liverpool’s title race by throwing the book at Salah for his dive. Albeit more chance of Mike Ashley selling the club to the Queen.
-
So many of our players lack the basic fundamentals of how to play football. As much as Diame and Yedlin have physical attributes, neither of them have any clue how to pass a ball to a teammate. I used to think Joselu was Spanish for “donkey”. Turns out it actually means “stealing a living”.
-
Someone needs to tell Joselu we’re in the black and white shirts.

It is a stronger squad. Just everyone else around us got much stronger squads

Weird that from the Guardian he's quoted as saying: “We have to realise we will be in the bottom half of the table the whole season; finishing higher will be a miracle,” - https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/dec/24/premier-league-10-talking-points-weekend-action Either way think he's realising he's entering the end game at the club. Either Ashley backs him considerably now (no chance) or someone else takes over and backs him (less chance than no chance). In other words, adios Rafa

Our backup right back is quite low on our list of problems. Especially given our first choice is a liability anyway.
-
As inconsistent as he is, every time i watch Atsu play I realise how lacking in options we are for wide players. Bring back Shane Ferguson.
-
Will be our 'like a new signing' for the second half of the season. Likely to be our only signing too.
-
I work with one of his relatives. Kid has been highly thought of for a while. When he was at NUFC they were telling him to watch Tiote on matchdays and learn how he played. His Dad has moved him around a bit looking for the best 'all round' opportunity.
-
Absolutely this. If there was 5 mins for this, expect to see 20 mins for a game sometime soon.

Just staggers me how Premier League sides who have spent an obscene amount of money are as bad as that. Reliant on shocking refereeing decisions against a bunch of fairly crap misfits managed by a genius. p*ss off Sky as well. When a ‘coming together’ is a fully fledged elbow in the face you lose the respect that a fine punditry team involving Shola gained you. Oh wait, he’s a clueless c*** too.
-
Great run and ball for the goal. Honestly didn’t realise he was on the pitch prior to that. Almost wished he wasn’t on the pitch after that. But yeah, only hope the best for him but will be surprised if it happens. Probably destined to be a a too good for the Championship/not good enough for the Prem player.
-
Sounds like us. “Deal where no money down? Of course we’ll pay you at the end of season! Suckers...”
-
Rafa’s a genius. Give him £85m and sure as hell he’d spend it on better players than the two Everton spent it on.

Everton team to play Newcastle: Pickford, Coleman, Zouma, Mina, Digne, Gueye, Gomes, Lookman, Sigurdsson, Richarlison, Tosun. Subs: Stekelenburg, Keane, Baines, Walcott, Davies, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin.
