Yeah they were raving about him after his debut. Has done well by all accounts in the limited games he's played.

Whilst WhoScored isn't exactly gospel (Clark ranked our second best player this season) it's quite telling that Yedlin is our lowest ranked outfield player to have started over a dozen games - https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/23/Show/England-Newcastle-United

Yedlin such a bloody liability. Just the sort of “he’ll do” player we’re stuck with by having an owner with no ambition. -

Rondon’s done quite well, has held up the ball as well as ever just not quite getting the bounce of the ball so far. Even that headed chance was a couple of inches too high to get over. Think we’ve played alright so far. Just very wary of Palace on the break. -
Ritchie threatened by new player playing in his natural position shocker.

Think I read the other day he didn't start playing football until he was around 15/16 years old. It bloody well shows.

Went to this yesterday and when I saw the Arsenal line up thought we had a sniff of a chance. Nope. Was a classic away performance of trying to keen it tight then maybe push the last 20mins but we never even got close to them. Would have been a bit of a wasted trip given the entertainment on show, but was livened up vastly by the introduction of Ki in the second half. There was a couple of Korean fans behind me who pretty much starting squealing when he came on which was probably the highlight of the game from our perspective.

Have been reading Michael Calvin's 'No Hunger in Paradise' (which I'm sure you've read OCK). Seems like youth football has so much good stuff intertwined with the bad. If we go ahead and appoint an ex-player with barely any experience it really is a damning indictment of how we treat our youth process.

Sure there’s plenty of knowledgable coaches out there with cutting edge ideas just in need of the opportunity. Yet we continue with the “jobs for the boys” mantra. Perhaps being a bit harsh on him given he’s not had a chance yet, but would be extremely surprised if he is the type of person to revolutionise our acaemdy.

Could be a free agent in the summer. Unless we give him three more starts. Pretty much ball in our court then.
-
Probably saw how well OGS was doing at Man Utd and realised that opportunity is likely gone. Had a hell of a lot of leverage to go back to Real with so hopefully he has more control and can shape them as he wants to.

Wouldn't be as fussed if Ritchie himself hadn't come out and said it's now his "preferred position" to play left wing back.

Was just so bad on so many levels. In fairness Everton should be blowing too as they were screwed by a couple of pretty stonewall decisions. Two footed tackle from Zouma on Almiron - nothing Pickford stopping a clear goalscoring opportunity making no attempt to play the ball - Not even a yellow Head injury during a build up of a goal - play on Yedlin making full contact late on a player in the box - no penalty Rondon clearly offside - not given Really was bloody awful across the board. Evened out his shitness and a trip to the Championship for the ref and assistants beckons surely.

To be honest not sure what Silva said at half time (nor Rafa for that matter) but Everton were awful second half, so he wasn't really under that much pressure. Did well today but we know he has his limitations. Schar suspended for next two now so be interesting to see if Dummett comes in or whether they go with Fernandez.

What the bloody hell was he thinking with that clearance for their goal as well?

Oh football. Oh Pickford. And to think some strange people thought our keeper was ‘dodgy’ after a couple of mistakes. Blimey. And Lee Mason. Coming to a Championship fixture soon following that shambles. -
In other words the referee simply did not know the rules. No other way of viewing it.

Christ the day when Mike Dean is the preferred option at anything other than a biggest cunt awards show.

I don’t mind if we get beat against a better side. I’ve even just about accepted the fact this happens when their team cost about five times as much to assemble as ours. To to be two down lately in part to dreadful officiating, simply complete misinterpretations of the rules is absolutely infuriating. -

Don’t know who is more likely to have alcohol on their breath right now. Ritchie for that god awful clearance for the first and crap pen or the referee for missing a two footed challenge, at the very least a booking for Pickford and a head injury in the build up for their second goal. Just bizarre that a top level referee doesn’t know the rules. -
Somebody didn’t buy Lee Mason a referees rule book at Christmas. Makes it up as he goes along. #BESTLEAGUEINTHEWORLD

Gutted for the lad, but at least Diame and Ki are fit now so we have options.

Yeah pitch must be very slippy as the West Ham players seem to be falling over for no reason quite a lot.
