Indeed. If we want to have marauding full backs - which I do and think they are one of our best attributes - it'd help to drop a midfielder slightly deeper when they are up the field. In reality feels slightly like the 3 midfielders generally have the same instructions and are bombing about at random. I don't know the exact stats, but if you could do a scatter plot of "distance covered" and "touches" I'm sure our midfield would be in the lower right corner. Expend so much energy without achieving much. Might do that now actually.
