Stayed at the Maldron last time. It was very nice but that part of town is total carnage, like being in a zoo. As long as I can get pints before, after and preferably during the game I'm happy. Will hopefully travel down first thing and stay in the evening. Thought the meal last time was great but happy also with something quick 'n easy (neesy).

I like things like this where they manage to piss off everyone by flip-flopping so much. Great stuff.

Tierney for £30m seems a crazy good deal. I assume I'm missing something large. If we need a left back we should be all over that.

Chelsea's line up yesterday was pretty average considering the 800m spent.

Even just from the highlights he looked a cut above. Incredibly quick thinking and amazing touch.

They are very dull, safe signings really. In fairness to JWP, he is a good fit for Moyes. He'll carve out a few wins from tight games through set pieces, 9 goals in a garbage season last year. Think Moyes will stink up the place but ultimately get 12th place or something.

Exactly such self-aggrandising pish, they are getting royally bent over for someone not worth anywhere near that money. Then paying £300k+/week. Good business isn't just getting what you want at all costs, if anything it is narrow-minded and stubborn. They literally have no backup option and have telegraphed that to West Ham constantly.

I think it's ultimately a bit of a joke, but it does reek of acceptance and contentment. Any other players would talk about how it's their dream to score in a champions league final etc. However he has more money than most of us will ever have being a competent squad player in the best team in the world, so who am I to judge. Is it who you want leading your midfield? Not sure.

Whether there's impartiality in his contract or not, it should surely be implied as an employee of BBC. While I agree it seems this has been more harshly treated than non-tory bashing, it's potentially just the straw that broke the camel's back with regards to Lineker's behaviour over the years and being used as a tory-bashing stick (while that is admittedly an agreeable usage). The obsession with completely destroying the only major impartial news source is another example of the determination of the hard left to eat itself.

Christ almighty, those Liverpool goals Man Utd had so many chances to clear most of them and kept giving it right back. They had 4 or 5 chances to clear the second goal, just so funny.
