I think he approached Wolves correctly in terms of playing his strongest team. I just disagree on what that team was. Knowing we'd take lion's share of possession we didn't need Tonali and Joelinton together. Should've tried Ramsey or Miley in midfield to try and create more going forward. Also, Barnes on the left because, up against that 'low block', we needed to get some shots to test soppy bollocks in goals. Trippier and Barnes on the right is an awful combination (more to do with Trippier than anything).

I'm not sure (especially against Wolves) it's worth playing Tonali and Joelinton together. They are essentially doing the same thing. I think Joelinton-Miley-Bruno is a nicely balanced midfield and would like to see that a little more. Worried the start/stop playing of Miley, and shoving him in random positions, might stunt his momentum a bit.

That said I'm really looking forward to this

The start is fun, then the end is interesting, but the vast middle is tedious and dull. It's sort of sapped the magic of the Champion's League away. There's an unbelievable amount of games. It must be so draining on Howe and team, and also pockets of the hardcore fans, not sure how they do it. I think it'll start to show in teams determination to achieve Champion's League football. No longer can you have a few lucky results and get to the quarter finals. Get a champions league spot and you're guaranteed 8 games but you'll essentially never get very far without a massive squad and huge expenditure, and you'll probably tank your league form alongside it.

Not sure what's happened, he was a world beater only a few months ago. He's so average now I'd be tempted to cash in if there's a big offer. Though still hopeful he can regain his better form. Him and Joelinton together isn't really working now. They have no chemistry and just storm about the field at random creating nowt (though at least Joelinton can control a game and get a couple goals on occasion).
