What pissed me off most about this and alot of other performances, is there is absolutley no movement in midfiled, i thought Duff was really good tonight, there is absolutley no movement in that midfield though, everytime i saw someone with the ball most of the players would run away looking for space they wouldnt find, when arsenal had the ball, 2 to 3 players would move to the ball. It just looked so simple, i dont understand how we cant instil that.

Bytheway theres a snippet in the Daily Mail *spit* where Jewell is quoted saying ": "When I see other players leaving for £4million or £5million what we want for Giles Barnes is not unreasonable." That to me would suggest that he wants around that or more but not less. Would be happy with the signing, watching him play in the championship last year he looked like a good mix of pennant and dyer. Would be happy with him to be fair.

Has owen actully been offside though, he's been called off when he was quite clerly on many times.

Diaby is an absolute beast.

What has Roz done wrong so far? Zog is getting abused, what really fucks me off with this side is that when someone has the ball no one fucking moves, no one wants the ball, have a look at arsenal and 2 or 3 people will come looking for the ball, with us 1 will come for the ball if we're lucky the others will run away looking for space they wont find. Its so basic to have good movement, am i the only one who sees it, surely it cant be that hard to get your team to move.

hopefully Zog LB and Roz CM

To be honest, im ok with that formation, i think it'll be better than last saturday, you have 2 DM who will protect the defence well and you have 2 attacking wing backs who like to get forward. Zog will cause big problems for there right back (Flamini?) Duff and Zog link up really well when they played against Man City.

He went off injured on Saturday. ahhhhh, i wondered why they took him off.

You mean like with Guiseppe Signori? We all know what happened. Precisely.

He was a real talent last year, single-handedly winning them games on more than one occassion. This year, he's playing in one of the worst teams in Premiership history, and he's not nearly good enough to single-handedly make a mark, like he could do last season. Derby fans were expecting him to blossom and take the Premiership by storm, but he hasn't (and not all of that is his fault), and they're disappointed with him. He'd be a good signing, i'd be thrilled to see him come in. Yeh so would i, think he'd be a good player for us, by the sounds of it he isnt being used in a position that suits him. Would like to take o gamble on him to be honest. Would be the right blend of youth and forst team the Mort would go for.

Reasonably happy with this set up, its a pro active set up whihc is always good. My only concerns are how Keegans ego will be effected by this, i think its fair to say that by the looks of it, his importance to the club isnt as high as it would be were he on his own, can he handle being "just a cog" as someone put it? It'd be interesting to know what Keegans input in all this will be, where is the balance of power? My other concern is with the transfers? Its the only grey area i see, will there come a stage where someone doesnt agree with a sigining that keegan may want to make, if so, what would happen?
-
There seem to be quie a few people at Derby whodont rate him that highly, thats worrying for me, im hoping that with more posession he'd show more ability then he has done at derby, a year ago he was possibly worth £6m but now he's not worth that, i'd pay £4m max.

"nothing wrong with mickey mouse...he done very well for walt disney"---ally fraser If this "professional" route can better the record of the "mickey mouse" route's 8 top 7 finishes/5 top 4 finishes in 14 years, I'll be well happy. So basically eight top 7 finishes in 14 years then?

I am very happy with the new set up and emphasis on youth, but my concern is do we have the coaches to bring the best out of the youngplayers, arsenal have a superior set of coaches and a superior scouting network to ours, i dont belive it will take that long to get a set up to match arsenals, Chelsea did it in a couple of years. My main concern though is that nufc have a history of not getting the best out of there younger players and blooding them too early, if you look at the youth that arsenal have brought in, they are usually close to being the complete level headed article on the pitch because Wenger only makes sure they play when they are ready, there arent many mistakes made by Arsenal players which are attributed to "being inexperienced" that to me is not down to the players being superior, but because the coaching is close to perfect.

I hope its a case of Keegan telling them who or what he wants, his record is second to none at our club. This is the crucial point - I am all in favour of greater professionalism at the club, as opposed to the Mickey-Mouse way of running recruitment under the previous regime, but the essential thing is to ha ve everyone pulling in the same direction ; remember the old saying 'A House divided among itself cannot stand'...... If any major differences among the parties begin to emerge, there would undoubtedly be fireworks. Thats what im worried about as well, i dont have any doubt whatsoever that Keegan will have 100% say on the first team but the grey area where both 'parties' start to clash, ie the transfers is something which is waiting to be ignited. Theonly solution i can see for this is 2 seperate budgets, then again we go down the route where the other party dont thnk that a siging of keegan isnt suitable, which may cause more friction....too many cooks etc....

Surely he cant be doing this deal? It also cant bea coincidence that this has all come out and he happens to be there.

I cant believe people are genuinely questioning Owens ability? Are these the same people who think we arent creative enough??

Very pleased with the structure to be fair. I have absolutly no credible opinions on the personell (just like everyone else) because i have no idea what there roles entail, i think its refreshing to see a modern structure put in place for this club with definite directives. My only issue with this appointment would be if the manager was to be undermined byt Wise et al, which would be a major issue. Im praying the Keegan has the final word in this and it is all down to him at the end of the day but i agree that this is the way forward.

Wasn't Mort recently quoted (a few weeks back) as saying he wants to spend as money comes in? Not heard this to be fair, my sig was a quote from keegan which would undermine that view. I also imiagine they want to keep there kitty quiet so prices dont rise.
-
I think spending will be unprecedented this summer, going on what Ashley and Kelmsey has said (give me a chance with a window) and (nufc are in for exciting times) i'd say we are in for a good summer, i dont even care about getting my hopes dashed im so sure of it.
