Our three main City Centre Parks (as said NOT all laid out as Victorian-style parkland) are Leazes Park, Town Moor, and Exhibition Park.

Yes, I lived next door to Regents Park in London for a number of years, used to play football, cricket and tennis there regularly, so central London Parks are good, but very much so are central Newcastle Parks. A much enhanced Leazes Park, after our 70.000 seater new stadium replaces our old St James' Park, will then then be even better, and certainly much better for the residents of Leazes Terrace.

Our main City Centre Parks (some laid out in Victorian Style, some not) remain, as always, as Exhibition Park, Town Moor (including Castle Leazes Moor etc etc) and Leazes Park. That is just how it is, we are very lucky to have all of these attached to our urban City Centre.

Whichever group of people is in charge of our transfers this summer - they will get it right. Our ownership is as single minded about success as I am. They experienced the impact of not planning carefully enough last summer, they will N E V E R want to even come close that again, so they never will. TRUST our club and its great (great) owners !

In 2023 I got sepsis from a tooth infection, my face was swollen to almost twice its size, on one side. I don't remember much about it and was in the RVI for a fortnight. My wife later told me that the consultant told her that I very nearly died of Sepsis. Lets hope it is NOT that for Eddie.

My first season having a season ticket, was 1969/1970, I had only been able to afford occasional matches, as a young-un, before that. My first season (69/70) was the season AFTER we had just won the Fairs Cup - so some people actually called me a "Glory Hunter" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought they still exist, but moved their club to Milton Keynes and changed their name to Milton Keynes Dons. A brand new club, nothing to do with the old Wimbledon Club that is now in Milton Keynes, now plays as Wimbledon AFC.

Yes, I think over the next few weeks our results will start to calm the nerves of some supporters who are not yet 'certain' about our consistency levels!
