I could not possibly agree less with what you say about Gibb. I watched him closely for many years.

I used to stand in the Centre Paddock in those days and the bloke next to me used to shout "Get off Gibb" throughout the match, often from as early as when the teams were walking out at the start!!! Not very motivating - but actually very funny !

Tommy Gibb in almost every match he played. It was very (very) annoying when Joe Harvey used to sometimes pick Gibb instead of Jimmy Smith!

Very sad, he was part of my early years supporting NUFC, always a good watch. RIP Tommy Cassidy.

When I was younger "Morecambe and Wise" gave me the most deep-seated, heartiest, uncontrollable LAUGHS on a very regular basis. No-one else and nothing else could come remotely near. I have said this SO many times now . . . NUFC want this absurd FFP/PSR system sorted or abolished. NOTHING much was happening, it wasn't being talked about, until Darren Eales told the world that the worlds richest club had to sell players to progress, because of FFP. That started all the immense amount of dissatisfaction and discussion that we have now, allied to (what he knew would happen) penalties being given to some 'non-sleazy six' clubs. The latest part of this process is how we let all this PSR deadline stuff out into the media when (as you now realise, if you didn't already know) that we do not leak anything (eg D O F appointment) if we do not specifically want to. We are clever, so very, very, clever.

Yes, I realised your quotes, but I liked the opportunity to use my Newcastle Postcode map! Newcastle 10 is quite 'central' really, just south of the river, Felling area.

That, I suppose, is what 'they' might say, but all of the Newcastle Postcode areas have Newcastle ("NE") postcodes. I would imagine they probably know this, but cannot bring themselves to admit it.
