Weird thought processes in some people. Very weird, very superficial, but quite frequently (sadly) very true !!!

Botman was not himself for the first ten minutes or so, which included when (and why) Spurs were able to score their goal. You could see the fractional difference in his speed of reaction, which is VERY understandable after so long out injured. After that first ten minutes Botman was (amazingly) pretty much back to his normal very high defensive (and other) standards.

We have a lot of genuine elite players in our team now, and Lewis Hall is probably the best of the lot. He is there for the next ten years, and probably for England too. Surely you can see that?

There is no evidence of any "refusal" (I'm sure it would have strongly been leaked from somewhere) and in any case under the old rules they could not refuse it, only 'reduce it' to some fantasy FMV figure. Under the new rules WE set the figure and they (EPL) have to prove it is not FMV (if they can) which is much more difficult for them and easier for us to dispute.
