The currently called "positive" thread is the "logical and realistic" thread, based on all availble knowledge. Some of the negative conclusions people come to are not realistic at all, but their thinking (if that's what it is) is "mind-blowingly" creative in how they add 2 and 2 together and make Minus 4" out of it. Mind-blowing. Just rename the (so-called) Positive Thread the "Realistic, Logical and Common Sense" Thread, then merge to other one INTO it, so it can be absorbed by it. Common sense prevails . . . and then we can all look forward together to the exciting future for NUFC. Give it a try!

It's not worth it mate! However, on your first point, "having confidence in your ability" is a diametrically different situation to "having the ability". You have helped prove my point. Just look at ALL the people involved on both sides (not just the legals) and the respective differences are M A S S I V E

If only life was as simple as that! Any 'issue' where the decision is (as yet) not finally made, will consist of (probably) thousands of variables. It is very unlikely that, in the entire long history of mankind, there has ever been one single issue where those variables have been equally split "50/50". That would be a miracle!

Apart from all of his well known qualities, Rafa also has the "extra" three (at least) qualities of (1) He knows the Club and the City (2) Many NUFC supporters understand that and love him for it, and (3) He wants to be here, you will have read the plans that he had for here before he left. They would be the "same on Steroids" now !!!

Someone should post this onto their idiotic forum . . . The article is from the early 1990s, when a small part of the Airport encroached into Northumberland. That area was incorporated into the City at that point. In the late 1990s I worked with the accountant who actually pays the Airports Business Rates Bill, and he paid it all to the City. lly

Yes, the Airport is fully inside the City Boundary, in the Woolsington area of Newcastle . . . they all "know" that, I'm sure!

Newcastle, Gateshead, South Shields, Sunderland, North Shields, Blyth, Hexham, Whitley Bay, Morpeth AIRPORT . . . is quite a 'catchy' name, don't you think?
