  1. The currently called "positive" thread is the "logical and realistic" thread, based on all availble knowledge. Some of the negative conclusions people come to are not realistic at all, but their thinking (if that's what it is) is "mind-blowingly" creative in how they add 2 and 2 together and make Minus 4" out of it. Mind-blowing. Just rename the (so-called) Positive Thread the "Realistic, Logical and Common Sense" Thread, then merge to other one INTO it, so it can be absorbed by it. Common sense prevails . . . and then we can all look forward together to the exciting future for NUFC. Give it a try!
  2. It's always a bonus when someone agrees with you, no matter how flawed their reasoning might be Clap away. Me, I am just an NUFC fan who wants the best for his club, as I always have, and presently that "best" is very, very, exciting!
  3. It's not worth it mate! However, on your first point, "having confidence in your ability" is a diametrically different situation to "having the ability". You have helped prove my point. Just look at ALL the people involved on both sides (not just the legals) and the respective differences are M A S S I V E
  4. You ask me to answer, then you tell me that I cannot use (at least one) part of the obvious answer.
  5. We are all different, we all have different abilities. Based on the information available to us all, I have come to certain inevitable, logical, clear conclusions. As they say . . "other conclusions are available" !!!
  6. He is very unlikely to go anywhere other than here, but I also never expected Chernobyl to explode. The world is, as written above, full of variables.
  7. If only life was as simple as that! Any 'issue' where the decision is (as yet) not finally made, will consist of (probably) thousands of variables. It is very unlikely that, in the entire long history of mankind, there has ever been one single issue where those variables have been equally split "50/50". That would be a miracle!
  8. Apart from all of his well known qualities, Rafa also has the "extra" three (at least) qualities of (1) He knows the Club and the City (2) Many NUFC supporters understand that and love him for it, and (3) He wants to be here, you will have read the plans that he had for here before he left. They would be the "same on Steroids" now !!!
  9. Yes, we ALL deserve the fantastic future we are going to have - we all love NUFC - and so I do agree that we should also all "enjoy the build up to it" together, on the one Takeover Thread.
  10. It certainly isn't a 50 / 50 split of possibile outcomes, nothing like it!
  11. As I have said many times, what is called the "positive thread" is logically the "Realism Thread", because that is what most of the currently known relevant information adds up to!
  12. Thanks for your honesty in the way you have described this. Just the 'thought' of Bruce being told to look for a new job, cheers me up while we wait . . .

Someone should post this onto their idiotic forum . . . The article is from the early 1990s, when a small part of the Airport encroached into Northumberland. That area was incorporated into the City at that point. In the late 1990s I worked with the accountant who actually pays the Airports Business Rates Bill, and he paid it all to the City. lly

Yes, the Airport is fully inside the City Boundary, in the Woolsington area of Newcastle . . . they all "know" that, I'm sure!

Newcastle, Gateshead, South Shields, Sunderland, North Shields, Blyth, Hexham, Whitley Bay, Morpeth AIRPORT . . . is quite a 'catchy' name, don't you think?
  16. That is the most likely route to the approval of the Takeover. There are many routes, but that is the most likely.

  18. When we win Arbitration, I hope we still continue with the competition case, because that is where the real dirt on the EPL and the Sky Big Six will be exposed . . . for the good of ALL of English Football. English Football has as much (almost) to gain from this as we in NUFC do.
