Yes, Keith led an excellent factual discussion last night about how far advanced the Takeover process is. Like Keith, I feel that good news (great news) about our Staveley/Reubens/PIF Takeover is now completely inevitable, and all that WE have to do is . . .

Lots of very serious legal-related stuff from Keith so far. Excellent.

But, all of this is only relevant if the Premier League are actively looking for a way to stop this deal going through. With all the massive benefits it would bring to the City of Newcastle, The UK economy, the Premier League itself, and last (but not least) to Newcastle United FC, then SURELY the Premier League should really be actively looking for any way possible to get this deal passed, ASAP!

There is no point in listening to anyone who says there is going to be 'good news' or 'bad news' on a certain day, or even 'after' a certain day. Unless it is Staveley, or someone else actually involved. No one else knows any 'dates' at all. We all know there will be good news (in fact 'great news') eventually, but don't listen to anyone who says "when" !!!

Reading the sequence of posts it looked like you were talking about the big letter "S", that is what I was talking about. Looking back further, it seems you were talking about a pigeon !!! My mistake, sorry!

See my post just above yours.

Unlikely to be 5 years !! BUT, no-one knows how long, I understand your impatience (do you not think I share those feelings?) but we can only wait. Everything I know about the situation involving the sale of our club, and the personnel involved (ALL of them, on all sides, seller, buyer, EPL) leads me to be absolutely certain of our eventual success. Absolutely certain, and knowing that makes the waiting a LOT easier.

That is the point, he was using those well known examples of information that is already in the public domain to demonstrate the "type" of evidence that will be used. It is logical that those examples are "as nothing" in comparison to the actual evidence that will be used (of course I have not seen the evidence myself) but the quality of that evidence is why the legal action and arbitration are both going forward - right now.
